I am going to discuss to you about some specific tips for a niche selection and where you should focus your efforts on choosing a niche for a high ticket dropshipping store. there are lots of different general categories you can start. You can start with niches in the home, around the home, hobbies, transportation, recreation, workspaces, and commercial industries.

I want to talk about why you want to choose one over the other. I was having a coaching call last night with the new turnkey store client of ours and what he was asking me was would it be better to get into a home-based niche, hobby niches, commercial niche. To make a decision, I am going to give you the things you should consider when choosing your niche. 

One thing to consider is profitability, that means if there is enough demand for the product online and enough suppliers. If you see that there are a lot of websites selling the niche of your choice, that means it is profitable.

The second thing is more to do with you as an entrepreneur because what I find is that a lot of people are not exactly as passionate about building a business in the beginning. 



This is the thing called The Dip. In business, when you first start, it’s really hard to get going. You have to put a lot of work upfront. In the beginning, there is a rise of excitement, you are enthusiastic to build a business. After that, there’s a dip because you start realizing how much work needs to be done to build your store out. It takes a lot of time to get through the dip sometimes especially if you are already a lot on your plate that you are busy about. 

I would suggest that you choose a niche that you will be passionate so you are excited to work on it every single day. You are dying to become the CEO of your own company selling the products you are passionate about. It isn’t until you want it badly enough that you will actually get it. You need to have a burning desire to actually achieve your goals in life.



This is not 100% necessary for advance marketers that have been doing it for a long time. If you already know how to sell anything, you are not going to need to be passionate about it. For beginners, you need to be passionate about your niche because it will be very challenging at first. 



It is important to have a foundation of a network and support group. The worst thing as an entrepreneur is to try to do this all by yourself. It is hard to find success if you don’t have an emotional connection with other like-minded people.  

Networking is really important for entrepreneurs. I go to a lot of networking conferences. This October will be going to DC BKK, in December it will be Affiliate World and in January I will be going to Launch Conference. These events help me grow as an entrepreneur and I have met people that changed my life.

Most of the times, you will learn from the people you talk to as opposed to just reading books or watching youtube. If you have an emotional connection and you take advises from these people, it will change your beliefs. 



Always remember to build your business and start to thrive. Start with profitability and back it up with passion and never stop networking. Network with your peers and have fun with it. Enjoy your life, travel, relax and take a break when you need to rest. 

To sum it all up, when it comes to choosing niches, match it up with what you think is most profitable and it is something you are passionate about as a newbie.
