Location Independence Secrets: Build A Location Independent Business with High-Ticket Drop Shipping
Welcome to the first topic of a high ticket drop shipping masterclass mini-course where I will talk about what is a high ticket dropshipping. I will also explain to you what an awesome opportunity it is to get started with an online business without any experience and be able to become location independent. Eventually, you will become financially free so you can travel the world and do all the cool things you want to do.
Right now, I am filming in Bali, Indonesia. It is a great place where a lot of digital nomads go to. People that have an online business like high ticket dropshipping. There are also great places like Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
THE SHORT HISTORY
When I first got started, I had a day job in Los Angeles, California. I was masterminding with some of the guys I worked with. A friend came up and we started a skateboard brand because I am a skateboarder. I thought it was a nice idea. We made cool shirts and boards but they did not sell. It is no big deal as I have learned a lot.
WHAT IS DROPSHIPPING?
My business partner heard about dropshipping and it got me interested. Dropshipping is selling products online that are already made. The products are from China and they import it to the United States. They are holding it in their warehouse and they need somebody to sell it online for them.
As an eCommerce marketer, we understand the new world of eCommerce. It is an amazing opportunity where people are buying anything from their smartphones every day. It is something we are taking advantage of the opportunity. We are putting the products in front of the customers. The cool thing about dropshipping is that you get a dealer account with these suppliers Just like if you are a physical retailer store. Basically, all you have to do is create a listing on your website that includes a picture, a description of the product and the price. You just have to send traffic to the website like google ads or content marketing like blogging or youtube video or social media marketing. When you get a sale, you send that to your supplier and the supplier will send the product to the customer.
ACCIDENTAL HIGH TICKET DROPSHIPPING
The first niche of my dropshipping store is ‘bicycle’ called the fix gear bike. The price point about $200-$500 range. It is a high ticket because low ticket drop shipping is around $10-$50. We started high ticket dropshipping by accident just because of the product that we found.
The product was really popular in our area. We market it online through google ads. We even sell it on eBay and Amazon. It grows slow for about a year because I still did not know what eCommerce platform to use and about advance traffic methods. It was until 2014 when I start scaling the business because we had more suppliers. We did about half a million in sales.
THE MISTAKE OF NOT GETTING ENOUGH INFORMATION
We had a mistake of opening a physical bike shop. I have thought of getting bigger brands but those bigger brands suppliers wanted an upfront investment and we don’t have a lot of partners that have a lot of capital and us don’t what to have debts. Luckily, I found a friend who took over the lease so I was able to get out of that bike shop and go back to work at the home office.
DISCOVERED SELLING THE WEBSITE
I have realized that I am tired and I wanted a break and look into selling the website. That is when I found out I was selling websites. We sold it for about $50,000.
From completely broke and in debt, working a dead-end job and was making $10 an hour with a day job to making $10,000 net profit.
That is where I understand that if I can do it in one niche, it is possible that I can do it in other niches.
THE COME BACK
During late 2016, I got back into the business and sell an electric bike. The price point was around $3,000 - $5,000. The lowest was $1,500. For those high price points, it has 30%. Later on, we sold the stuff and became digital nomads and travel the world.
THE MASTERCLASS CREATION
It was not until 2018 when I decided to create this course. I realized that there are lots of people who need help. Everybody needs help just like I need help for this business. It would be cool to have a system in place to just actually duplicate these stores. All I have to do is film myself doing a really good store. I just have to put the best practice as possible. I can have my own VAs to build me stores and manage them for me.
Through this, I can help you build your own store and manage it yourself or have your own team of Virtual Assistants.

I have a lot of students that are very successful in this and I am proud of them. Last month, one of my students sent me a screenshot who did $106,000 in sales. I am just blown away because it was just last year that he asked for my help. We did a conversion optimization. It was just an hour's call and a year later, he just made $100,000 a month on his store.
