The way to make money online is with sales funnels. You need to build trust with a lead before that person will buy from you. In this article, I’m going to go over the sales funnel that you can create in 5 easy steps today. 

First, you'll need a funnel building tool. I recommend Clickfunnels, an all-in-one hosted sales funnel solution.

 

Create a lead generator

This can be a video or blog post in PDF format, checklist, template, or anything else of value. You can make it as short as you want or as long as you want, but I recommend to keep it short enough to watch read within 10 minutes, so if it’s written, then that’s 1000 words or less.


Create a squeeze page

A squeeze page is simply a page on your website without any buttons or links besides a box to put your name, email, and click submit. The point of this page is to convince somebody to give you their name and email address in exchange for a free video or report.


Create a thank you and one-time-offer page

This is a page to thank your lead for signing up to get your offer, introduce them to you and your brand, deliver the offer to them in the form of a download button and then sell them something. This works best with a video sales letter that uses sales triggers such as trust, social proof, scarcity, and urgency to get that lead to take action by buying your product or service now. On that sales page you will have them click a buy now button, then you’ll take them to a checkout page. If they click buy now but don’t buy, you should place them on an abandoned cart email autoresponder series. Once they place their order, send them to an upsell page where they are thanked and offered another similar product or service. You can keep this going as long as you want to. The fact is, customers that just placed an order are more likely to buy something else too. You should set up an email autoresponder that will shoot out an email series for each button the lead clicks on your site.

 

Create an email autoresponder series

Using an email service like Aweber, you can set up an autoresponder series over the course of a few days or even weeks to re-introduce yourself and your brand, give them value over and over again by sending them content to teach them about your products or services, then use the same sales triggers mentioned above to sell them your product or service.

I recommend Aweber, an email marketing service that provides autoresponders and allows affiliate marketing links in the emails. I also recommend reading the Invisible Selling Machine by Ryan Deiss. It explains how to create email autoresponders in depth. 

 

Follow up with daily or weekly email campaigns

    Send them periodic campaigns to pitch them relevant solutions to other problems they may have in the form of other sales funnels. It’s super important not to pitch them anything that isn’t relevant to what they signed up for in the first place, or your email might be labeled as spam.
