Cherry Servers does not have one price. It has well over a hundred, spread across VPS, VDS, dedicated, outlet, spot and GPU servers, seven data center regions, two currencies and four billing options (hourly, monthly, annual and spot). The pricing pages load most of them with JavaScript, so the numbers you see in a search snippet are often not the numbers on the page today. Its own pages also disagree with each other about the cheapest VPS, which I will show you further down.
So I did what I do before I recommend infrastructure to anyone. I pulled the cherryservers.com sitemap, which lists 921 URLs, and downloaded 190 of them: every pricing page, every plan page, every product, network, storage and legal page, and the billing articles in the knowledge base. Where the price only lives in the data the page loads, I read that data directly. Every figure below is what those pages published on 22 September 2026, in US dollars, excluding VAT, which is how the price tables label them.
Now the honest part, because I would rather lose a click than waste your money. I have run high-ticket stores for more than 15 years, selling products in the $1,000 to $5,000 range, and almost every store I build or coach runs on Shopify. A Shopify store needs no server at all. Shopify hosts it, patches it and scales it. If that is you, you can stop reading here and put the money into ads or suppliers.
Cherry Servers starts to make sense in three situations: a WooCommerce or Magento store that has outgrown managed hosting, self-hosted tools that run beside your store (price monitors, supplier feed syncs, analytics, n8n or similar automation), or an agency hosting several client stores. By the end of this you will know what each server type really costs, when hourly billing burns money, which regions cost more, what the add-ons and overages cost, and whether you should buy Cherry at all or just use managed hosting.
Run Your Store Tools on Hardware You Actually Control
Cloud VPS from $3.51 a month, bare metal from $57.33 a month or $0.098 an hour, up to 100TB of free egress on dedicated servers, and a 15-day money-back guarantee on dedicated plans.
Cherry Servers Pricing at a Glance (2026)
This table gives the cheapest monthly price for each server family, as the price lists showed it. Where a plan is on sale, I show the regular price too. Hourly rates are the on-demand rate for the same plan.
| Server family | Cheapest plan | Monthly | Hourly | Included egress |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cloud VPS (Gen 2) | 1 vCore, 1GB RAM, 20GB SSD | $3.51 | $0.018 | 1TB |
| Cloud VPS (Gen 1) | 1 vCore, 1GB RAM, 20GB SSD | $10.53 | $0.018 | 5TB |
| Cloud ARM VDS | 1 vCore, 6GB RAM, 25GB NVMe | $10.53 | $0.018 | 5TB |
| Storage VPS | 1 vCore, 2GB RAM, 700GB HDD | $22.23 | $0.039 | 10TB |
| Cloud VDS | 4 vCores, 16GB RAM, 100GB NVMe | $33.93 on sale (regular $57.33) | $0.098 | 10TB |
| Premium VDS | 4 vCores, 16GB RAM, 100GB NVMe | $69.03 on sale (regular $80.73) | $0.138 | 10TB |
| Performance VDS | 4 vCores, 16GB RAM, 200GB NVMe | $104.13 | $0.178 | 10TB |
| Outlet dedicated | Intel E3-1240V3, 16GB RAM, 250GB SSD | $57.33 | $0.098 | 30TB |
| Current dedicated | Intel Gold 5315Y, 32GB RAM, 2x 250GB NVMe | $174.33 | $0.298 | 30TB |
The virtual server figures come from the Cherry Servers virtual server price list, and the outlet and dedicated figures from the server outlet and dedicated server price lists on the same domain. The egress column is what the plan data lists for European and US regions. Singapore and Tokyo get smaller allowances, which I cover in the region section.
Two things stand out straight away. The cheapest VPS is a Gen 2 plan that includes only 1TB of traffic, against 5TB on the older Gen 1 plan that costs three times as much. And the cheapest dedicated server is an outlet box with an Intel Xeon E3 CPU from several generations back, sold in Lithuania only.
Cherry’s Own Pages Disagree About the Starting Price
This matters because the figure you remember from a search result may not be the one you pay. Here is every “from” price I found for the cheapest VPS, with the page it came from:
- $3.51 a month: the page title and plan cards on the Cloud VPS product page, and the Gen 2 plan page itself.
- $3.24 a month: the FAQ at the bottom of the same Cloud VPS product page.
- $5.83 a month: a second FAQ answer on that same Cloud VPS page, which gives the starting price as USD 5.83 per month.
The price list and the plan page both say $3.51, so plan against $3.51. The two FAQ figures look like leftovers from older pricing.
Dedicated servers have the same problem. The home page and the pricing overview both say dedicated servers start from $0.098 an hour, which matches the outlet E3-1240V3. The bare metal product page says pre-built servers start from $0.298 an hour, which matches the cheapest current-generation plan, the Intel Gold 5315Y. Both are true. They are describing different shelves of the same shop.
Virtual Server Pricing in Detail
Cherry sells two kinds of virtual server. A VPS shares CPU with other customers. A VDS gives you dedicated CPU cores on a virtual machine. For a store’s background tools, a VPS is usually enough. For anything customer-facing, such as a WooCommerce front end, I would start on a VDS.
Cloud VPS (Gen 2)
| Plan | Specs | Monthly | Hourly | Egress |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cloud VPS 1 (Gen 2) | 1 vCore, 1GB, 20GB SSD | $3.51 | $0.018 | 1TB |
| Cloud VPS 2 (Gen 2) | 2 vCores, 2GB, 40GB SSD | $7.02 | $0.039 | 1TB |
| Cloud VPS 4 (Gen 2) | 4 vCores, 4GB, 80GB SSD | $10.53 | $0.058 | 1TB |
| Cloud VPS 6 (Gen 2) | 6 vCores, 6GB, 100GB SSD | $15.21 | $0.078 | 1TB |
The Gen 2 plans are listed in all seven regions, but stock varies. When I read the data, all four Gen 2 plans were in stock in Lithuania and Chicago and out of stock in Singapore, Frankfurt and Tokyo. Check the location you want before you plan around it.
Watch the hourly rate on these plans. At $0.018 an hour, a full 730-hour month of Cloud VPS 1 costs about $13.14 (730 x $0.018), almost four times the $3.51 monthly price. The annual option on Gen 2 is $42.12, which is exactly 12 x $3.51, so there is no annual discount on these plans either. Pay monthly.
Cloud VPS (Gen 1) and the 40% annual discount
The older Gen 1 VPS plans cost more per month but include 5TB of traffic and carry real annual discounts. Cloud VPS 1 (Gen 1) is $10.53 a month, or $75.82 a year against a full annual price of $126.36, which is 40% off and works out to $6.32 a month. Cloud VPS 2 (Gen 1) is $22.23 monthly or $186.73 a year, 30% off. The Gen 1 plans in Singapore get only a 15% annual discount.
Cloud VDS, Premium VDS and Performance VDS
Several VDS plans carry an Autumn Sale label. Here are the entry plans, with both prices:
| Plan | Specs | Sale monthly | Regular monthly | Annual |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cloud VDS 2 | 4 vCores, 16GB, 100GB NVMe | $33.93 | $57.33 | $407.16 |
| Cloud VDS 4 | 8 vCores, 32GB, 200GB NVMe | $80.73 | $104.13 | $828.36 |
| Premium VDS 2 | 4 vCores, 16GB, 100GB NVMe | $69.03 | $80.73 | $687.92 |
| Performance VDS 2 | 4 vCores, 16GB, 200GB NVMe, 3Gbps | No sale | $104.13 | $1,062.13 |
The Cloud VDS 2 annual price of $407.16 is exactly 12 x $33.93, so on that plan the sale price and the annual price are the same thing. Premium VDS 2 is different: $687.92 a year works out to $57.33 a month, which is $11.70 a month below its $69.03 sale price. If you know you will keep a server for a year, always compare the annual figure, because the discounts are not consistent from plan to plan.
For a WooCommerce store doing real volume, Cloud VDS 2 at $33.93 is the plan I would test first. It gives you 16GB of RAM on dedicated cores, which in my experience is more memory than managed WordPress plans usually give you at that price. The catch is that you manage everything yourself, which I come back to below.
Dedicated Server Pricing
Cherry’s dedicated servers split into three shelves: outlet servers (older Intel hardware at a discount), current pre-built servers (AMD EPYC, Ryzen and Intel Gold), and custom builds. Here is a cross-section from cheapest to most expensive, all monthly and on-demand hourly rates in European and US regions:
| Server | CPU and RAM | Monthly | Hourly | Egress |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| E3-1240V3 (outlet) | 4 cores, 16GB | $57.33 | $0.098 | 30TB |
| E3-1240V5 (outlet) | 4 cores, 32GB | $69.03 | $0.118 | 30TB |
| Intel Gold 5315Y | 8 cores, 32GB | $174.33 | $0.298 | 30TB |
| AMD Ryzen 7700X | 8 cores, 64GB | $186.03 | $0.318 | 100TB |
| AMD EPYC 7313P | 16 cores, 64GB | $186.03 | $0.318 | 100TB |
| AMD EPYC 7443P | 24 cores, 64GB | $197.73 | $0.338 | 100TB |
| AMD Ryzen 7950X | 16 cores, 128GB | $232.83 | $0.399 | 100TB |
| AMD EPYC 9754 | 128 cores, 768GB | $1,285.83 | $2.202 | 100TB |
| AMD EPYC 9575F | 64 cores, 384GB | $1,580.67 | $2.706 | 100TB |
The EPYC 9575F at $1,580.67 was the highest monthly price on the dedicated price list. Custom builds with added GPUs, RAM or disks cost more, and the price list cannot show those until you configure one.
Stock is the thing to check before you get attached to a number. At the time I read the data, the Ryzen 7700X showed one unit in stock, in Lithuania. The EPYC 7313P showed two, both in Chicago. The Intel Gold 5315Y showed none. A cheap plan that is out of stock in your region is not an option. One customer review quoted on Cherry’s own promotions page also says dedicated servers often take more than 15 minutes to appear.
The outlet server that gets cheaper every month
One outlet plan, the E5-1620V4 in Lithuania, is labelled Cheaper Each Month. The plan data shows it starting at $115.71 a month and dropping by $5 each month until it reaches $75.71, against a regular price of $134.55. That is eight monthly steps of $5 ($115.71 minus $75.71 is $40). It has 4 cores, 32GB of RAM and 30TB of traffic. For a long-running internal tool that does not need modern CPUs, that is a sensible deal.
Want a Dedicated Server Without Being the Sysadmin?
Cherry is unmanaged. Liquid Web’s dedicated page lists fully managed servers from $205.70 a month with cPanel, 500GB of Acronis backups and 24/7 management included. Check which term that price assumes before you buy.
Hourly, Monthly or Annual: Which Billing Saves Money
The price list data carries four billing options: hourly, monthly, annual and spot. Hourly is the most expensive way to run anything for a full month. The Ryzen 7950X is $0.399 an hour, which is about $291.27 over 730 hours (730 x $0.399), against $232.83 on monthly billing. Use hourly for a migration test, a load test or a one-off job, then delete the server.
Annual billing on most current dedicated servers is 15% off. The Ryzen 7950X is $2,374.87 a year against a full annual price of $2,793.96 (12 x $232.83), which is $197.91 a month. The promotions page FAQ gives the wider scale: “We offer 5% / 10% / 15% discounts for quarterly / semi-annual / annual billing cycles, for servers without a special promotion like our 2nd and 3rd Gen AMD EPYC.”
Here is the spread on billing cycles, because again the pages disagree. The price list switcher shows hourly, monthly and annual only. The dedicated and virtual server FAQs list monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual. The terms of service add bi-annual. The payment options article lists monthly and annual as the fixed terms. If you want quarterly billing, ask support before you order rather than assume the button exists.
The biggest trap is a sale price with no annual discount. The EPYC 9124P is $361.53 a month in Chicago on the Autumn Sale, and its Chicago annual price is $4,338.34, within 2 cents of 12 x $361.53 ($4,338.36). The same server in Amsterdam is $420.03 a month, but $4,284.31 a year, 15% off, which is $357.03 a month. On an annual contract, the region running the sale is the more expensive one.
Region Differences: Singapore and Tokyo Cost More
Cherry lists seven regions: Lithuania, Amsterdam, Chicago, Singapore, Stockholm, Frankfurt and Tokyo. Most virtual servers cost the same everywhere. Dedicated servers do not.
| Server | Europe and Chicago | Asia | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| AMD EPYC 7443P | $197.73 | $375.57 (Singapore) | $177.84 more |
| AMD EPYC 7313P | $186.03 | $349.83 (Singapore) | $163.80 more |
| AMD Ryzen 7950X | $232.83 | $338.13 (Singapore) | $105.30 more |
| AMD Ryzen 9700X | $221.13 (Amsterdam, Chicago) | $326.43 (Tokyo) | $105.30 more |
Asia also gets less traffic. The Cherry Servers bandwidth policy says dedicated servers in Singapore and Tokyo include 20TB a month instead of 100TB, and overage there is €1.69 per TB instead of €0.5. For a US store, Chicago is the obvious choice anyway. If you sell into the US from Europe, Amsterdam or Frankfurt usually beats Asia on both price and allowance.
Bandwidth, IPs and Other Add-Ons
Traffic is where Cherry is genuinely cheap, but the allowance depends on the server type. The bandwidth policy lists these monthly egress allowances for fixed-term servers in Europe and the US:
- Dedicated servers: 100TB at 3 to 10Gbps.
- Outlet dedicated servers: 30TB.
- Cloud VPS (Gen 1): 5TB. Cloud VPS (Gen 2): 1TB.
- Storage VPS: 10TB to 35TB.
- Cloud VDS, Cloud ARM VDS, Premium VDS and Performance VDS: 10TB to 20TB.
That is nine server types across five lines. Traffic is pooled across all the servers in a project, and ingress is free. The Intel Gold 5315Y plan lists 30TB, not 100TB, so read the allowance on the plan card rather than assuming the dedicated figure.
Overage pricing is published four ways. The bandwidth policy and the bandwidth plans page say €0.5 per TB. The same bandwidth plans page also says $0.59 per TB in its header. The Cloud VPS page says extra traffic costs from $0.5 per TB. Asia is €1.69 per TB. Budget at $0.59 for Europe and the US, since that is the highest figure published for those regions.
The other add-ons, as listed on the pricing overview page:
- Floating IP: from $2.34 a month. The floating IP page itself shows $0.004 an hour in one place and €0.002 an hour in another.
- Public IP subnet: from $18.72 a month for 5 IPs. The subnet page title says from €0.014 an hour while its body says from $0.032 an hour.
- Load balancer: from $11.86 a month, or from €0.02 an hour on the load balancer page.
- Elastic block storage: from $0.077 per GB a month on the overview, and $0.08 per GB a month on the storage page.
- Backup storage: from $3.50 a month for 50GB, and listed as free for dedicated servers.
GPU Server Pricing
The GPU page lists each NVIDIA card with a starting price. The page says you add your selected GPU when you deploy a server, and the cards do not say whether the base server is included, so confirm the total in the configurator.
| GPU | Memory | From (hourly) | From (monthly) | Status on page |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Quadro K2200 | 4GB | $0.139 | $80.73 | Waiting list |
| Quadro K4200 | 4GB | $0.158 | $92.43 | Waiting list |
| Tesla P4 | 8GB | $0.170 | $99.45 | Configurable |
| A2 Tensor Core | 16GB | $0.239 | $139.23 | Configurable |
| A10 Tensor Core | 24GB | $0.518 | $303.03 | Waiting list |
| A16 Tensor Core | 64GB | $0.539 | $314.73 | Waiting list |
| A40 | 48GB | $0.801 | $472.66 | Pre-order |
| A100 | 80GB | $2.362 | $1,657.68 | Pre-order |
Of those eight cards, only the Tesla P4 and the A2 showed a configure button. For a store owner, GPUs only matter if you run your own image generation or AI models. Most stores should rent that as an API instead.
Setup Fees, Refunds, Trials and Renewals
Setup fees. The Amsterdam dedicated server page says there are no lock-in periods or setup fees. The terms of service still mention set-up fees in the refund clause, so they can exist on special orders. Section 11.7 of the Cherry Servers terms of service reads: “Cherry Servers commits to refund such Order within seven (7) days, less any amount for set-up fees, non-standard servers or server components provided under a special Client request or third party licenses.”
Money-back guarantee. The dedicated server price list FAQ says: “Yes, a 15-day money-back guarantee applies to all dedicated server plans.” The home page shows the same guarantee on its virtual server card too, and the terms of service apply the 15-day refund to any Order. Plan on it for dedicated servers and ask support to confirm it in writing for anything else. Crypto refunds are paid at the euro value on the day of the refund, less exchange fees, so you may get back a different amount of coin.
Free trial. None of the pricing, product, legal or billing pages I opened offers a public free trial. A customer testimonial on the price lists mentions agreeing a trial period with Cherry, so it may be negotiable for larger orders. The 15-day guarantee is the practical trial.
Prepaid terms and renewals. Section 17.2 of the terms says: “No refund will be provided by Cherry Servers for any remaining prepaid fixed subscription term unless the Parties agree otherwise in writing.” On renewal, the documents conflict. The payment options article says: “Fixed-term services are billed in advance, and are not automatically renewed at the end of the service cycle by default.” Section 17.3 of the terms says: “Upon expiration of the initial Order term, the Order will automatically renew for the same term as initially ordered unless either Party gives notice of non-renewal by the end of the respective term.” Assume it renews and set a calendar reminder.
Cherry Servers Promo Codes and Discounts
A lot of people search for a Cherry Servers promo code, so here is what is actually on offer. The Cherry Servers promotions page is titled as a page of coupons and promo codes worth up to 40% off, but it publishes no code. What it publishes is sale pricing:
- An Autumn Sale on 4th Gen AMD EPYC servers, headlined as up to 24% off. The deepest is the EPYC 9354P at $490.23 against $642.33.
- An Autumn Sale on VDS servers, headlined as up to 41% off. Cloud VDS 2 at $33.93 against $57.33 is the deepest, at about 40.8%.
- A permanent price drop on 2nd and 3rd Gen EPYC, which the page says leaves prices up to 63% below what they were.
- The 5%, 10% and 15% term discounts quoted above, and spot servers at up to 70% off.
The same promotions page promises 24% off this spring in its opening line while the offers underneath are labelled Autumn Sale, so treat the page as current pricing rather than a dated campaign. Cherry’s own ordering guides do mention applying a promo code at checkout, so check for one before you pay. Disclosure: I earn a commission if you buy through my links, and Cherry’s affiliate page says it pays affiliates 10% recurring. That does not change the price you pay.
Should a High-Ticket Store Owner Buy Cherry Servers?
Skip it if you are on Shopify. This is most readers. A Shopify store does not need a VPS, and adding one adds a thing to maintain for no revenue. If you are weighing platforms, my Magento vs Shopify comparison covers why I keep recommending Shopify for high-ticket stores.
Use managed hosting if you run WooCommerce but do not want to be a sysadmin. Cherry gives you root access and nothing else. Security updates, backups, PHP versions and 3am outages are yours. For a WooCommerce store selling $2,000 products, one bad afternoon of downtime can cost more than a year of managed hosting. Start with my guide to the best WooCommerce hosting.
If you want a managed VPS rather than shared hosting, read my breakdown of Cloudways pricing. Then compare it with my KnownHost pricing guide before you commit to either.
Buy Cherry if you, or someone you pay, can run Linux. It is a good fit for a WooCommerce or Magento store that has outgrown managed plans, for self-hosted tools such as feed processors and automation, and for agencies hosting client stores on one big server. My VPS vs dedicated hosting guide explains which of the two you need.
What I would actually buy
For self-hosted store tools: Cloud VPS 4 (Gen 2) at $10.53 a month, monthly billing, in Chicago. For a WooCommerce front end: Cloud VDS 2 at $33.93, and move to annual only after a month of stable traffic. For an agency or a heavy Magento store: an AMD EPYC 7443P at $197.73 a month in Chicago, or $2,016.85 a year, which works out to $168.07 a month.
How Cherry Servers Compares on Price
I checked the entry prices of three other providers on their own pages or public APIs on the same day. Hetzner is the obvious comparison for European bare metal, but its price tables load by script and I could not read a figure from the page source, so I am not quoting one.
| Provider | Cheapest VPS | Cheapest bare metal or dedicated | Managed? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cherry Servers | $3.51 (1 vCore, 1GB, 1TB) | $57.33 outlet, $174.33 current | No |
| Vultr | $5 (1 vCPU, 1GB, 1TB) | $120 (4 cores, 32GB) | No |
| DigitalOcean | $4 (1 vCPU, 512MiB) | Not compared | No |
| Liquid Web | Not compared | $205.70 fully managed | Yes |
The Vultr figures come from the Vultr public plans API, which lists the $5 plan in 31 locations. It also lists a $2.50 IPv6-only plan in 2 locations, which I left out because a store tool usually needs IPv4. The DigitalOcean figures come from the DigitalOcean droplet pricing page, where Basic droplets start at $4 a month for 512MiB and $6 for 1GiB. Liquid Web’s dedicated page shows $205.70 beside a label offering 15% off for 2 years.
On bare metal, Cherry’s outlet servers undercut Vultr’s cheapest bare metal plan by $62.67 a month ($120 minus $57.33), though on much older hardware. On current hardware, Vultr’s $120 plan undercuts Cherry’s $174.33 Intel Gold 5315Y. Where Cherry wins clearly is traffic, with 100TB included on most current dedicated servers. For more on Vultr, see my Vultr pricing breakdown. For a wider field, see my list of the best dedicated server hosting providers.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does Cherry Servers cost per month?
Cloud VPS starts at $3.51 a month on the Gen 2 plan. Dedicated servers start at $57.33 a month for an outlet server and $174.33 for the cheapest current-generation plan. The most expensive dedicated server on the price list was $1,580.67 a month. All prices exclude VAT.
Is Cherry Servers billed hourly?
Yes, every server has an hourly rate, starting at $0.018 an hour for virtual servers and $0.098 an hour for dedicated servers. Hourly billing costs more than monthly billing over a full month, so use it only for short jobs.
Does Cherry Servers charge a setup fee?
The Amsterdam dedicated server page says there are no setup fees. The terms of service do allow set-up fees to be deducted from a refund, which suggests they can apply to special or non-standard orders.
Does Cherry Servers have a free trial?
No public free trial is offered on the pages I opened. There is a 15-day money-back guarantee, which the dedicated server FAQ applies to all dedicated server plans.
Is there a Cherry Servers promo code?
The promotions page publishes sale prices, not codes. The discounts that exist are the Autumn Sale prices, term discounts of 5%, 10% and 15%, outlet pricing and spot pricing.
Does Cherry Servers pricing include bandwidth?
Yes. Current dedicated servers include 100TB of egress a month in Europe and the US, outlet servers 30TB, and virtual servers 1TB to 35TB depending on the plan. Singapore and Tokyo have lower allowances.
My Verdict on Cherry Servers Pricing
Cherry Servers is fairly priced once you know which shelf you are shopping from. The Gen 2 VPS at $3.51 is cheap but limited to 1TB of traffic. The VDS sale plans are the best value in the lineup. Current dedicated servers from $174.33 a month with 100TB of traffic are competitive, especially for anything bandwidth-heavy.
The pricing has sharp edges, and I would rather you hear about them from me. Hourly billing costs almost four times the monthly price on the cheapest VPS. Some sale prices carry no annual discount, so a non-sale region can be cheaper on a yearly term. Asia costs more and includes less traffic. The site gives three different starting prices for the same VPS and two different answers on whether contracts renew automatically.
Most important of all: this is unmanaged infrastructure. For a Shopify store it is irrelevant. For a WooCommerce store without a developer, managed hosting is the safer money. For a technical operator, an agency or a store running its own tools, Cherry is a strong, honest option, and the 15-day money-back guarantee on dedicated plans makes it cheap to test.
