I am going to talk you out of this one, or at least make you decide deliberately, because Instantly’s entry plan is built for a volume a high-ticket store will never reach.
Starter is $94 a month and includes 5,000 monthly emails and 1,000 uploaded contacts. Now hold that against Google’s own definition of a bulk sender: more than 5,000 messages per day to Gmail accounts. Instantly’s entire monthly allowance on the cheapest plan is one day of bulk sending.
A store owner emailing forty manufacturers for dealer terms is typically sending a few hundred messages a year. So the question is not which Instantly plan to buy. It is whether you are the kind of business Instantly is for at all, and this guide answers that honestly before it covers setup.
Every price, limit and quoted phrase comes from Instantly’s own pricing page, plus Google’s published sender guidelines and the FTC’s CAN-SPAM guide, all read on 29 September 2026. Where a figure is my own arithmetic or my opinion, I say so, and I am not a lawyer.
I run Ecommerce Paradise. If the model is new to you, start with what high-ticket dropshipping actually is.
Look Before You Commit
Instantly’s pricing page offers signup without a credit card, so you can see the product before deciding whether the volume it is built for is your volume.
The Bundles, and What Each Allowance Means
Instantly’s pricing page sells bundle plans plus standalone products, which is worth separating before you compare anything.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual per month | Monthly emails | Uploaded contacts | Credits a month |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $94 | $85 | 5,000 | 1,000 | 1,500 |
| Scale | $194 | $175 | 100,000 | 25,000 | 5,000 |
| Agency | $555 | $500 | 500,000 | 100,000 | 10,000 |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom |
Scale is marked as the most popular option, and Enterprise requires booking a call. The page presents the annual column as a 10% discount.
Every bundle plan lists unlimited email accounts and unlimited email warmup, and all plans include access to what the page calls “450M+ B2B Leads”, which is Instantly’s own claim about its database.
Alongside the bundles there are standalone products. Outreach is offered in Growth, Hypergrowth and Lightspeed tiers spanning $47 to $358 a month, and Credits in Growth, Supersonic and Hyper tiers spanning $47 to $197 a month. I could not read a price for any individual standalone tier, only those ranges, so I am not going to assign a figure to a named tier.
There is also a VIP managed service at custom pricing.
I have covered the plans further in my Instantly pricing guide.
The Honest Assessment for a Store Owner
Here is the arithmetic that should decide this, and it is mine.
Suppose you are sourcing one niche properly. You build a list of forty manufacturers and regional distributors. You email each of them, follow up twice, and add a few more companies as you find them. Call it 200 messages across a quarter.
Starter’s allowance is 5,000 emails a month and 1,000 uploaded contacts. Your entire quarterly campaign uses about four percent of one month’s send allowance, and your forty-odd contacts about four percent of the 1,000-contact allowance. You would be paying $94 a month, or $1,128 a year by my own multiplication, for capacity you use a fraction of.
That is not a criticism of Instantly. It is a product built well for a different customer: agencies, lead-generation businesses, and people for whom cold email is the primary acquisition channel. For them, unlimited sending accounts and unlimited warmup on every tier is genuinely valuable, because managing many sending domains is their whole operational problem.
For a store owner emailing suppliers, my view is that a normal mailbox, a spreadsheet and some discipline do the job, and the money is better spent on the store.
When Instantly Does Make Sense Here
Being fair to the product, because there are real cases.
The first is if you are running more than supplier outreach. If you also do partner outreach, media outreach, or you run a service business alongside the store, those volumes add up and the tooling starts to earn its place.
The second is if you have decided cold email is a channel you will run properly rather than occasionally. Somebody systematically contacting hundreds of manufacturers across several niches to find the best terms is doing a different job from somebody emailing forty companies once.
The third is the unlimited sending accounts, which matter if you are deliberately spreading sending across multiple domains. That is a volume technique, and if you need it, you already know why.
If none of those describe you, the honest answer is to skip this and come back if your situation changes.
Or Have the Sourcing Done For You
My done-for-you builds include the supplier research and the dealer approvals, which is the part the tooling cannot do for you.
Step 1: Work Out Which Product You Are Buying
If you have decided to proceed, this is the first real decision and the pricing page makes it easy to get wrong.
The bundles combine sending with credits and the leads database. The standalone Outreach and Credits products are sold separately at their own tiers. Somebody who already has a list and only needs to send is buying a different thing from somebody who wants the database.
Since I could not read individual standalone tier prices, compare them yourself against the bundle figures with your actual usage in front of you. Do not assume the bundle is better value just because it is presented first.
Step 2: Do Not Buy the Leads Database on Reflex
The page advertises access to “450M+ B2B Leads” on all plans, and for supplier sourcing I would treat that as a secondary tool rather than the main one.
The companies you want are manufacturers of specific freight-shipped equipment. Those are not hard to find, because they have websites, dealer pages and trade show listings, and the right contact is usually a named sales manager rather than a database record.
My own approach, and it is mine, is to build the list by hand from manufacturer websites and industry directories, because the research you do while building it is what makes your approach email good. In my view, a database gives you addresses without giving you the understanding.
If you want a directory built for this specific job, the SaleHoo setup guide covers one designed around contacting companies rather than importing products.
Step 3: Verify Before You Upload Anything
Every contact you upload counts against your allowance, and a dead address consumes the same allowance as a live one.
Verify the list before it goes anywhere near the tool. I wrote up how I verify a supplier list, and at forty addresses it costs nothing.
This matters more here than on most platforms, because you are paying for contact capacity in blocks and there is no reason to spend any of it on addresses that will bounce.
Step 4: Set Up Authentication and Use the Warmup You Are Paying For
Unlimited email warmup is included on every bundle plan, which means if you do buy Instantly you should not be paying for a separate warmup tool as well.
Before warmup does anything useful, get authentication right. Google’s email sender guidelines tell bulk senders to “Set up SPF and DKIM email authentication for your domain” and to “Set up DMARC email authentication for your sending domain.”
Google’s bulk-sender threshold is stated as: “Starting February 1, 2024, email senders who send more than 5,000 messages per day to Gmail accounts must meet the requirements in this section.” Note again how that compares with Starter’s 5,000 per month. My view is that authentication is worth doing at any volume regardless, because it is what lets a receiving server confirm your mail is genuinely yours.
Google also says to “Keep spam rates reported in Postmaster Tools below 0.30%” and recommends “below 0.10%”. Those are its published figures for bulk senders, offered here as reference points.
If you decide against Instantly but still want warmup, the Warmup Inbox setup guide covers a standalone option priced per inbox per month, starting at $15 per inbox.
Step 5: Write Sequences That Suit Suppliers, Not Prospects
This is where cold-email tooling most often goes wrong for this audience, because the default playbook is built for selling, and you are asking to buy.
A supplier email is not a pitch. It is a retailer introducing themselves and asking two specific questions: what are your dealer terms, and do you ship direct to a customer address. Adding urgency, social proof or a sales sequence to that makes it worse, not better.
My own approach is one message, then one short follow-up a week later, then stop. In my experience, three or four automated touches with escalating enthusiasm is how you get ignored by exactly the companies you most want to work with.
The rest of the approach, what to say and what to ask, is in my guide to finding high-ticket suppliers.
Step 6: Keep the Messages Compliant
Supplier outreach is commercial email and the rules apply.
The FTC’s CAN-SPAM compliance guide sets out eight main requirements for commercial email under US law. In summary: no false or misleading header information; no deceptive subject lines; identify the message as an ad; include your valid physical postal address; explain clearly how to opt out; remember that subscribers and members can opt out too; honor an opt-out request within 10 business days; and monitor what others do on your behalf. The guide states a maximum civil penalty of up to $53,088 per violation, as read on the date above.
That is a summary of a government guide rather than legal advice. Google separately requires that “Marketing messages and subscribed messages must support one-click unsubscribe, and include a clearly visible unsubscribe link in the message body”, and does not state a processing timeframe, so do not carry the FTC’s 10-business-day figure across to it.
Having a real postal address for that footer is one more argument for setting the business up properly, covered in business formation for high-ticket dropshipping.
What This Costs Over a Year
| Setup | Cost |
|---|---|
| Starter, billed monthly | $94 a month, $1,128 across a year by my own multiplication |
| Starter, at the annual rate | $85 a month, $1,020 across a year by my own multiplication |
| Scale, billed monthly | $194 a month, $2,328 across a year by my own multiplication |
| Scale, at the annual rate | $175 a month, $2,100 across a year by my own multiplication |
| Agency, billed monthly | $555 a month, $6,660 across a year by my own multiplication |
| Standalone Outreach or Credits | Ranges of $47 to $358 and $47 to $197 a month |
Every yearly total is my own multiplication of Instantly’s published monthly figures, not a figure Instantly quotes as an annual total.
Compare the first row against what supplier outreach for one store actually requires, and decide with the numbers in front of you rather than on the promise of the feature list.
Where This Sits in the Rest of the Build
Cold-email tooling sends messages faster. It does not find the right manufacturers, make your approach credible, or improve the terms you are offered.
If the niche is unsettled, my high-ticket niches list is where to start, because sourcing an undecided niche is wasted effort.
Once suppliers reply, the conversation needs somewhere to live. I wrote up how I set up a CRM for quote requests for that. The follow-up sequence that runs on the customer side of the business is a separate job again, and the GetResponse setup guide covers it.
The Whole Thing, in Order
| Step | What you do |
|---|---|
| 1 | Count your real outreach volume before looking at any plan |
| 2 | Compare that with Starter’s 5,000 monthly emails and 1,000 contacts |
| 3 | Skip this entirely if supplier outreach is your only sending need |
| 4 | If you proceed, decide between a bundle and the standalone products |
| 5 | Build your supplier list by hand rather than pulling it from a database |
| 6 | Verify every address before uploading, since contacts count against your allowance |
| 7 | Set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC before sending anything |
| 8 | Use the included warmup rather than paying for a second tool |
| 9 | Write one message and one follow-up, not an escalating multi-touch sales sequence |
| 10 | Put a valid postal address and a clear opt-out in every message |
Step 3 is the one that saves you the most money, and it is the one no affiliate article wants to put in writing.
Built for Outreach at Real Volume
Unlimited email accounts and unlimited warmup on every bundle plan, with Starter listed at $94 a month and Scale at $194, both discounted 10% on annual billing.
Six Mistakes to Avoid
Buying it for forty supplier emails. Starter’s monthly allowance is 5,000 emails. Your quarterly campaign uses a fraction of one month.
Assuming the bundle beats the standalone products. They are different purchases, and I could not read individual standalone tier prices, so compare them yourself.
Pulling your supplier list from a database. The research you do building it by hand is what makes your approach email work, in my view.
Uploading unverified contacts. Contacts count against your allowance whether or not they exist.
Paying separately for warmup. Unlimited email warmup is listed on every bundle plan.
Running a sales sequence at suppliers. You are asking to buy from them, and escalating follow-ups read as noise, in my experience.
Frequently Asked Questions

What do the bundles include?
Unlimited email accounts, unlimited email warmup, and monthly allowances of 5,000, 100,000 and 500,000 emails on Starter, Scale and Agency respectively, with 1,000, 25,000 and 100,000 uploaded contacts.
What are the credits for?

Is there a free trial?
No free trial is explicitly stated on the pricing page, but signup is available without a credit card.
How big is the leads database?
The page states “450M+ B2B Leads” across all plans. That is Instantly’s own claim about its database.
Is Instantly right for a high-ticket store?
In my view usually not, if supplier outreach is your only sending need. The entry plan’s allowances are far beyond what contacting forty manufacturers requires.
When would it make sense?
If you are running partner, media or service-business outreach alongside the store, or if cold email is a channel you intend to run properly at volume.
Does it include warmup?
Unlimited email warmup is listed on every bundle plan, so buying a separate warmup tool alongside it would be paying twice.
What is the annual discount?
The page presents annual billing as a 10% discount, showing $85, $175 and $500 a month against $94, $194 and $555.
What should I use instead?
For supplier outreach at a store’s scale, my view is a normal mailbox, a verified list and a disciplined follow-up habit. Spend the difference on the store.
