Affiliate disclosure: some links on this site are affiliate links and I may earn a commission at no cost to you. This costs you nothing and it does not change what I recommend. Full disclosure here.
Almost every list of high ticket affiliate products is actually a list of software. Web hosting, funnel builders, email tools, a course or two. Those pay well and they are also the most contested keywords on the internet, fought over since 2015 by people with real link budgets.
This page is about the other side of the market. Physical products with high average order values, sold by brands that run real affiliate programs, in categories where almost nobody is publishing anything decent. Saunas. Tiny homes. Laser cutters. Stair lifts. Vending machines.
I have spent fifteen years selling physical products in exactly these categories, and I researched every one of them again in August 2026 before writing this. What follows is the category level view: what the products are, what they cost, what the programs actually pay, and which categories are worth building a site around.
If you want the specific brands and their signup links, that is a separate page. This one is about choosing the category first, which is the decision that actually determines whether the site works. When you have picked, go to the 97 verified high ticket affiliate programs and start applying.
Not sure which category fits you?
I keep a free list of 1,000 high ticket niches broken into 41 categories and 884 product types, with supplier counts for each one. It is the research I would do first, and it maps directly onto everything below.
What makes a physical product worth promoting
Four things, and a category has to clear all four. Miss one and you will write for six months and earn nothing.
The order value has to be high enough. Physical product commissions run three to eight percent. At five percent you need a two thousand dollar product to make a hundred dollars. Anything under a thousand dollars is a hobby unless the rate is unusually generous.
The brands have to run publisher programs. This is where most people lose. Plenty of expensive categories sell exclusively through dealer networks, which means there is no commission for a publisher no matter how good your review is. Check before you plan content, not after.
The buyer has to research. Long consideration cycles are what make content profitable. Somebody spending four thousand dollars on a sauna reads for three weeks. Somebody buying a phone case does not.
The search results have to be beatable. Look at who ranks. If the top ten are all established review sites with hundreds of referring domains, pick a different category. If half the results are manufacturer pages and thin listicles, you have found something. The Google guidance on helpful content is worth reading before you decide what to write.
The categories at a glance
Twenty one physical product categories, graded on how healthy the affiliate opportunity really is. Order values and rates are what I verified in August 2026.

| Outdoor Cooking & BBQ | $300 to $10,000 | 4 to 10 percent | $24 to $400 | Good, one big trap |
| E-Bikes, Scooters & EVs | $500 to $6,000 | 3 to 5 percent | $15 to $180 | Great products, weak rates |
| Home Theater & Audio | $500 to $5,000 | 3 to 10 percent | $20 to $300 | Promote the retailers |
| Boats & Watersports | $650 to $3,200 | 3 to 9 percent | $50 to $290 | Solid mid tier |
| Wine, Bar & Cigars | $100 to $3,000 | 3 to 15 percent | $5 to $300 | Basket size decides |
| Hunting, Shooting & Fishing | $50 to $3,000 | 2 to 8 percent | $10 to $240 | Write about the expensive gear |
| Kitchen & Laundry Appliances | $300 to $6,000 | 3 to 10 percent | $30 to $400 | Trap, with two exceptions |
| Game Room & Simulators | $500 to $5,000 | 5 to 10 percent | $75 to $300 | Two halves, one works |
| Lawn, Land & Forestry | $300 to $6,000 | 1.6 to 5.6 percent | $12 to $336 | Hardest category here |
Mattresses & Sleep
What sells: Hybrid and foam mattresses, adjustable bases, organic latex builds, premium pillows and toppers.
This is the most mature high ticket physical product category in affiliate marketing, and it stays good anyway. Every serious brand runs a program, most publish their rate openly, and the cookie windows are the longest you will find anywhere. Ninety to a hundred and eighty days is standard, which matters enormously when the average buyer researches for three weeks before pulling the trigger.
The reason the math works is that the commission rates are unusually generous for physical goods. Twenty percent on a fourteen hundred dollar mattress is real money, and several brands pay a flat hundred dollars regardless of what the buyer picks. Compare that against the three to five percent you see in most of the categories below.
The catch is that this is the one physical product category where you will meet real SEO competition. Mattress review sites have been around for a decade. Your way in is specificity: side sleepers with shoulder pain, mattresses for adjustable bases, what actually happens during a hundred night trial. Do not write another best mattress of 2026 post.
I found 6 verified programs and 3 of them Tier A in this category. They are all listed with rates and signup links in the high ticket affiliate programs guide.
Solar, Power & EV Charging
What sells: Portable power stations, home battery systems, solar panel kits, generators, expansion batteries.
Deep, consistent and growing. Every major brand in this space runs a verifiable affiliate program, several across multiple networks at once, and rates cluster around five percent with bonus tiers on top for volume. Order values climb fast because buyers rarely stop at one unit. They buy the power station, then the extra battery, then the panels.
What makes this category unusually good for a new site is the free data. The trade associations publish quarterly installation and pricing reports you can cite in every article, which gives a brand new blog something authoritative to say on day one.
One warning. EV home charging looks like part of this category and is not. Most of what advertises itself as an EV charger affiliate program is a customer referral scheme that only pays if you personally bought one. Read the terms before you write the article.
I found 6 verified programs, 1 of them Tier A and 1 major brand that only runs dealer programs in this category. Every one of them is in the programs guide with its rate, cookie window and signup link.
Recovery, Sauna & Cold Therapy
What sells: Infrared and traditional saunas, cold plunge tubs, red light panels, percussion and compression recovery gear.
The best combination of order value, growth and low competition on this page. A mid range home sauna is four thousand dollars, a cold plunge is two to six thousand, and the buyer has usually never owned one before, which means they read everything they can find.
Most brands here gate the exact commission rate behind an application. That is normal in this category rather than a warning sign. The ones that do publish pay ten to fifteen percent, and the flat rate deals run around two hundred and fifty dollars per sale.
Content here writes itself because the questions are so practical. What does installation actually involve, what does it cost to run per month, what size do you need for two people, does it need a dedicated circuit. Nobody in the top ten results is answering those properly.
I found 6 verified programs and 2 of them Tier A in this category. Every one of them is in the programs guide with its rate, cookie window and signup link.
Musical Instruments
What sells: Guitars and amps, digital pianos, drum kits, studio monitors, audio interfaces, orchestral instruments.
Nearly every major retailer in this space runs an affiliate program, several at ten percent, and the buying research cycle is famously long. People spend months deciding on a guitar. That is a lot of chances for your article to be the one they come back to.
The economics work because buyers here do not buy one thing. Somebody buying a first electric guitar buys the amp, the cable, the tuner and the case in the same session, and you get paid on the whole basket.
The competition is enthusiast forums and YouTube, not SEO agencies, which means well structured written content still ranks. Comparison posts between two specific models are the workhorse format in this category.
I found 6 verified programs and 3 of them Tier A in this category. Every one of them is in the programs guide with its rate, cookie window and signup link.
Sheds, Cabins & Tiny Homes
What sells: Prefab tiny homes, cabin kits, timber frame shells, high end storage barns, backyard offices.
This is the outlier. The programs are thin on the ground, but the ceiling is higher than anything else in physical products by an order of magnitude. A tiny home builder paying eight percent on a home that costs eighty thousand dollars is a six thousand dollar commission on one sale.
The honest constraint is volume. You are not going to close ten of these a month. What you can realistically build is a site that generates a handful of high intent leads a year, each worth what a whole quarter of software commissions would be.
Everything at the cheap end of this category, the flat pack sheds people actually buy, sells through big box retail and has no affiliate program at all. Skip that half entirely and write for the buyer who is seriously considering a second dwelling.
I found 3 verified programs, 2 of them Tier A and 1 major brand that only runs dealer programs in this category. They are all listed with rates and signup links in the high ticket affiliate programs guide.
Every category here came from one list
The free 1,000 high ticket niches list breaks each of these categories into specific product types, with supplier counts so you can see how deep each one goes before you commit a year to it.
Medical & Mobility
What sells: Stair lifts, power wheelchairs, mobility scooters, lift chairs, hospital beds, patient lifts, vehicle lifts.
A demographic certainty sitting under a category almost nobody writes about well. The buyer is usually an adult child researching on behalf of a parent, they are anxious, and they have almost no idea what any of it costs. That is the ideal reader for a patient, thorough article.
Stair lifts in particular pay flat rates that beat percentage deals in most other categories, and the products themselves run several thousand dollars. Power wheelchairs average close to four thousand.
Write with real care here. This is a reader making a decision under stress about someone they love. The tone that works is calm and specific, not urgent and salesy, and it is also the tone that earns the links.
I found 6 verified programs, 3 of them Tier A and 1 major brand that only runs dealer programs in this category. Every one of them is in the programs guide with its rate, cookie window and signup link.
Workshop, CNC & Industrial
What sells: Laser cutters and engravers, CNC routers, 3D printers, multi function maker machines, dust collection.
The best commission rates in the whole research set, paired with an audience that reads obsessively before buying. Somebody spending four thousand dollars on a laser cutter will read twenty articles and watch forty videos first.
Be clear about what this category actually is. It is maker and prosumer equipment, not heavy industrial machinery. No traditional industrial manufacturer runs a public affiliate program, and the ones that look like they do are dealer applications.
Content here rewards genuine hands on detail. Cut settings, material tests, what breaks after six months. Generic spec sheet roundups do not rank and do not convert in this category.
I found 5 verified programs and 3 of them Tier A in this category. Every one of them is in the programs guide with its rate, cookie window and signup link.
HVAC, Heating & Air Quality
What sells: Mini split systems, packaged units, furnaces, whole home air purifiers, humidity control.
The manufacturers in this category will not run consumer affiliate programs because they protect their installer networks. That is exactly why the online equipment retailers exist, and those retailers do run programs.
So the rule is simple. Promote the retailers, not the brands. A mini split system through an online equipment retailer at six percent on a fifteen hundred dollar order is ninety dollars, and the average order is higher than that because people buy multi zone.
The reader here is a homeowner deciding whether to DIY. Sizing guides, what a permit actually requires, and honest pieces about when to just hire someone are the content that earns trust and links.
I found 5 verified programs, 1 of them Tier A and 2 major brands that only run dealer programs in this category. Every one of them is in the programs guide with its rate, cookie window and signup link.
Vending & Retail Equipment
What sells: Smart vending machines, micro market kiosks, commercial display and merchandising fixtures.
A small number of programs, but the vending machine manufacturers selling direct pay the best flat per unit amounts on this page after tiny homes. Ten percent on a five thousand dollar machine is five hundred dollars.
The buyer is a first time small business owner, not a consumer, and their questions are business questions. What is the realistic monthly revenue, what does placement cost, how do you get into a location.
That commercial intent is an advantage. Business buyers convert on far less content than consumers do, because they are running numbers rather than browsing.
I found 4 verified programs, 2 of them Tier A and 1 major brand that only runs dealer programs in this category. They are all listed with rates and signup links in the high ticket affiliate programs guide.
Backyard, Patio & Outdoor
What sells: Greenhouses, pergolas and gazebos, fire pits, outdoor heating, patio furniture sets.
Thin on programs relative to how much people spend out here, and that gap is the whole story of this category. Several of the brands you would expect to promote sell only through big box retail and have nothing for publishers.
The smaller direct to consumer brands are where the rates are, and some of them are excellent. Twenty percent on a greenhouse is a three figure commission on a single sale.
Verify the program exists before you plan a content cluster here. This is the category where writers most often produce twelve articles and then discover there is nothing to link to.
I found 4 verified programs, 2 of them Tier A and 1 major brand that only runs dealer programs in this category. Every one of them is in the programs guide with its rate, cookie window and signup link.
Home Gym & Fitness
What sells: Treadmills, rowers, power racks, cable machines, complete garage gym builds.
Rates cluster between three and six percent, which means commissions only clear a hundred dollars on complete builds and premium cardio machines. Accessories are not worth the word count.
So write about full setups rather than individual pieces. A garage gym build article that specifies a rack, a bar, plates and flooring earns four commissions on one click through.
One brand here offers a full year cookie window, which is unusually generous and worth structuring some of your content around.
I found 6 verified programs and 1 of them Tier A in this category. Every one of them is in the programs guide with its rate, cookie window and signup link.
Furniture & Interiors
What sells: Sofas and sectionals, recliners, office chairs, dining sets, bedroom furniture.
The split in this category is stark. Legacy retailers pay one to five percent, which does not clear the bar on most orders. The direct to consumer brands pay double or triple that.
Fifteen percent on a two thousand dollar sectional is three hundred dollars. Five percent on the same sofa from a department store is a hundred. Same article, same effort, three times the money.
Write about the DTC brands and skip the department stores entirely, however tempting their name recognition looks in a headline.
I found 5 verified programs and 1 of them Tier A in this category. Every one of them is in the programs guide with its rate, cookie window and signup link.
Outdoor Cooking & BBQ
What sells: Pellet grills, pizza ovens, kamado cookers, built in outdoor kitchens, smokers.
Reliable programs with real per sale dollars, and one standout structural advantage: built in outdoor kitchens run into five figures, so even a four percent rate produces a four hundred dollar commission.
The trap is that the two most searched brands in this category run dealer networks and no affiliate program at all. If you build your content plan around them you will write for months and earn nothing.
The multi brand retailers are the answer. They carry the products people search for and they pay publishers, which is the combination you need.
I found 4 verified programs, 1 of them Tier A and 2 major brands that only run dealer programs in this category. Every one of them is in the programs guide with its rate, cookie window and signup link.

97 verified physical product affiliate programs across all 21 categories, with commission rates, cookie windows and direct signup links for each one.
E-Bikes, Scooters & EVs
What sells: Electric bikes, commuter and performance scooters, e-motorcycles, cargo bikes.
Great order values, disappointing rates. Three to five percent is typical across the category, which means a fifteen hundred dollar e-bike pays about seventy five dollars.
That is workable but it is a volume game, and it pushes you toward the premium end of every catalogue. Write about the three thousand dollar cargo bike, not the eight hundred dollar folding commuter.
One brand offers a full year cookie, which is worth knowing because this is a category where people research for a season and then buy in spring.
I found 4 verified programs and 1 of them Tier A in this category. Every one of them is in the programs guide with its rate, cookie window and signup link.
Home Theater & Audio
What sells: Projectors and screens, AV receivers, speaker systems, subwoofers, theater seating.
The retailer programs clear a hundred dollars easily on a real home theater build, because nobody buys just a receiver. They buy the receiver, the speakers, the sub and the cables.
Several manufacturer direct programs in this category pay under one percent, which is not worth writing about no matter how much you like the brand.
Theater seating specifically is a dealer only corner of the category. Interesting products, high prices, no publisher commissions.
I found 4 verified programs, 1 of them Tier A and 2 major brands that only run dealer programs in this category. They are all listed with rates and signup links in the high ticket affiliate programs guide.
Boats & Watersports
What sells: Inflatable boats and kayaks, paddle boards, underwater scooters, marine electronics.
Inflatables, kayaks and dive scooters all have workable programs, and one brand pays nine percent with a hundred and twenty day cookie, which is an unusually good combination.
The highest ticket segment in this category, electric hydrofoils at ten to fifteen thousand dollars a unit, is dealer only across the board. Every single brand. Do not plan content around it.
Seasonality is real here. Traffic and conversions concentrate hard into spring and early summer, so publish in winter.
I found 4 verified programs, 1 of them Tier A and 2 major brands that only run dealer programs in this category. Every one of them is in the programs guide with its rate, cookie window and signup link.
Wine, Bar & Cigars
What sells: Wine cellars and cooling units, humidors, bar refrigeration, glassware and accessories.
There are legitimate programs on the major networks here, but low base rates mean per sale value depends entirely on what the buyer puts in the cart.
Cellar and cabinet purchases clear the bar comfortably. Accessories do not. A three percent commission on a set of glasses is not a business.
So the content that works is about the expensive end. Cellar sizing, cooling unit selection, what actually goes wrong with cheap units after two years.
I found 4 verified programs and 0 of them Tier A in this category. Every one of them is in the programs guide with its rate, cookie window and signup link.
Hunting, Shooting & Fishing
What sells: Gun safes, fish finders and marine electronics, optics, fishing kayaks, trolling motors.
Solid program coverage, low rates. Two to eight percent means this category only pays when you write about the expensive gear rather than the consumables.
Safes, fish finders and kayaks are where the order values are. Ammunition and accessories will never produce a meaningful commission no matter how much traffic you send.
The best individual programs here are the optics and electronics brands at eight percent, which on a fifteen hundred dollar unit is a hundred and twenty dollars.
I found 4 verified programs, 0 of them Tier A and 2 major brands that only run dealer programs in this category. Every one of them is in the programs guide with its rate, cookie window and signup link.
Kitchen & Laundry Appliances
What sells: Freeze dryers, prosumer espresso machines, wine and beverage refrigeration, premium ranges.
Be careful here. The brands that make this category exciting to write about, the luxury range and refrigeration names everybody recognises, are dealer only. There is no affiliate path to them.
The real money sits in two adjacent corners. Freeze dryers, which run two to four thousand dollars against a tiered rate that reaches ten percent, and prosumer espresso, where the machines cost as much as the appliances and the buyers are obsessive.
Multi brand appliance retailers are the other way in, paying up to six percent on premium orders that regularly exceed two thousand dollars.
I found 4 verified programs, 3 of them Tier A and 2 major brands that only run dealer programs in this category. Every one of them is in the programs guide with its rate, cookie window and signup link.
Game Room & Simulators
What sells: Sim racing rigs and wheels, pool tables, shuffleboard, home arcade setups.
Underserved by formal programs relative to the order values, and split cleanly in half. Sim racing and billiards have real programs. Arcade cabinets and pinball do not.
The pinball and arcade half is dominated by a distributor and dealer model, which is a shame because the order values are the highest in the category.
Sim racing is the better bet anyway. The audience is young, online, and buys a rig then upgrades the wheel then upgrades the pedals. Repeat purchases inside one relationship.
I found 4 verified programs, 1 of them Tier A and 1 major brand that only runs dealer programs in this category. Every one of them is in the programs guide with its rate, cookie window and signup link.
Lawn, Land & Forestry
What sells: Compact tractors and attachments, zero turn mowers, sawmills, chippers, log splitters.
Fragmented and dealer heavy, and the hardest category on this page to build an affiliate site around. Almost every name brand manufacturer sells exclusively through dealers.
The multi brand farm and ranch retailers and the attachment specialists are the only real way in, and their rates are the lowest here.
If you love this space, the honest advice is that it is a better dropshipping category than an affiliate category. The dealer model that blocks you as a publisher is an open door as a retailer.
I found 3 verified programs, 0 of them Tier A and 1 major brand that only runs dealer programs in this category. They are all listed with rates and signup links in the high ticket affiliate programs guide.
The five I would actually start with
If you are picking one category today and building for the next two years, these are the five worth the commitment.
Recovery, sauna and cold therapy is my first choice. Four figure order values, mid single digit market growth running into the early 2030s, and current search results that are genuinely weak. You can outrank them with real writing inside a year.
Mattresses and sleep has the best commission structure in physical products, twenty percent rates and six month cookies. It is also the most competitive of the five, so go narrow.
Solar and portable power gives you deep program coverage, repeat purchases and free authoritative data to cite. Skip the EV charging corner.
Medical and mobility is the most underserved category relative to how much money moves through it. The Census Bureau projects that every baby boomer will be 65 or older by 2030, so the demographics only point one direction.
Sheds, cabins and tiny homes is the lottery ticket. Few programs, low volume, and a single sale that can pay more than a year of software commissions.
The categories that look better than they are
Three categories draw people in and then do not pay. Knowing this in advance saves you a year.
Kitchen appliances. The luxury brands everyone searches for are dealer only. You can write a beautiful comparison of two ranges and there is no way to earn on either of them.
Lawn, land and forestry. Compact tractors and sawmills are wonderful products with terrible affiliate economics. Almost everything sells through dealers, and the retailers that do pay are down at one to five percent.
Game room, the arcade half. Pinball machines and arcade cabinets cost as much as a car and sell entirely through distributors. The sim racing half of this category is fine. The arcade half is a dead end.
Pick the category, then the programs
The free niches list gives you 41 categories and 884 product types, ranked by how many suppliers serve each one. It is the fastest way to find a category with enough depth to build on.
Physical products versus software, honestly
A five percent commission on a two thousand dollar sauna is a hundred dollars, once. A thirty percent recurring commission on a hundred dollar a month software tool is around three hundred and fifty dollars over a year, and it keeps paying after that.
On paper the software wins and it is not close. What that comparison leaves out is that every affiliate on earth already ran the same numbers. Those keywords have been contested for a decade. The sauna installation keyword has four results, and two of them are manufacturer pages.
So you are trading harder per sale economics for a dramatically easier competitive environment. In these categories that trade is worth making. In most categories it is not, which is exactly why the categories on this page are the ones I would pick.
There is a second reason I favour physical products, and it is structural. Every dealer only brand you hit is a category telling you it wants a retailer rather than a publisher, which is the whole high ticket dropshipping model at twenty to thirty percent margins instead of five. The affiliate site is how you learn the category. The store is how you own it.
How to actually pick one
Pick the category where you can stand to write two hundred articles. That sounds obvious and it is the thing people get wrong most.
Then verify the programs exist before you write anything. Open the programs guide, find your category, confirm there are at least three Tier A programs in it. If there are not, pick again.
Then publish eight to twelve real articles before you apply anywhere, get your disclosure and policy pages live, and apply to the smaller programs first. The FTC endorsement guides cover what your disclosure has to say, and networks do check.
