Seobility changed every price it charges on 18 September 2026, added a new middle tier, and cut its free plan from 1,000 crawled pages to 100.
That is a 90 percent reduction in the thing most people used Seobility for, alongside a 40 percent increase on its main paid tier. If you picked this tool because the free plan audited your whole store, the reason you picked it is gone.
I pulled the current prices from Seobility’s own pricing page on 22 September 2026, reading the raw markup rather than the rendered page, because the page switches currency by location and I wanted the published figures in dollars, euros and pounds. I have kept the old price list further down too, because if you are an existing subscriber or you are reading an older review, you need to know what changed.
I run Ecommerce Paradise and a high-ticket store of my own, and I have used this tool. This is the write-up I wanted and could not find.
Premium Is Now $69.90 a Month
Every paid plan comes with a 14-day free trial. The free Basic plan now crawls 100 pages.
Seobility Prices in 2026
Seobility’s pricing page publishes three paid tiers and a free plan. All figures are net, meaning plus VAT where it applies.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual total | Annual per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | Free | Free | Free |
| Premium | $69.90 / €59.90 | $671.04 / €575.04 | $55.92 / €47.92 |
| Professional | $109.90 / €99.90 | $1,055.04 / €959.04 | $87.92 / €79.92 |
| Agency | $239.90 / €209.90 | $2,303.04 / €2,015.04 | $191.92 / €167.92 |
Annual billing saves 20 percent on every tier. Twelve months of Premium at the monthly rate is $838.80, against $671.04 paid annually. Pounds are priced the same as euros numerically, so Premium is £59.90 a month.
What Changed on 18 September
Here is the price list that applied until 17 September 2026, for comparison.
| Plan | Old monthly | Old annual | New monthly | New annual |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Premium | $50 | $480 | $69.90 | $671.04 |
| Professional | Did not exist | Did not exist | $109.90 | $1,055.04 |
| Agency | $200 | $1,920 | $239.90 | $2,303.04 |
Premium rose 39.8 percent in dollars, from $50 to $69.90. Agency rose 20 percent, from $200 to $239.90. The new Professional tier sits between them at $109.90.
If you read a Seobility review quoting $50 for Premium, it was written before the change. That includes a few older posts on this site, which I have since corrected.
The Free Plan Is the Real Story
Almost everything written about Seobility, including things I have written, recommended it on the strength of a free plan that crawled 1,000 pages. That plan no longer exists in that form.
| Free plan | Until 17 September | Now |
|---|---|---|
| Pages per crawl | 1,000 | 100 |
| Projects | 1 | 1 |
| Keywords tracked | 10 | 10 |
| Daily tool credits | 5 | 5 |
| Website audit | Full | Limited |
One hundred pages does not audit an ecommerce store. A modest Shopify catalogue with 60 products, its collection pages, its policy pages and a blog is past 100 URLs before you have thought about it. At 1,000 the free plan genuinely covered a small store. At 100 it is a demonstration.
Seobility still describes the Basic plan as “Free forever, really”, and that is accurate. It is simply a much smaller thing to be free forever. The free plan card also now lists 3 tracked AI prompts, which belongs to an AI visibility feature Seobility labels as coming soon.
What 100 Pages Actually Covers
Worth doing the arithmetic, because “100 pages” sounds like more than it is once a crawler counts the way crawlers count.
A crawler does not count products. It counts URLs, and an ecommerce store generates them faster than its owner expects. Take a small store with 60 products. That is 60 product URLs before anything else. Add 8 collection pages, a homepage, cart and checkout, 6 policy and information pages, an about page and a contact page. You are at 78 without a single blog post.
Now add the things people forget. Paginated collection pages each count. Filtered and sorted variants often count. Tag archives count. Twenty blog posts and their category pages count. A store of that size is realistically somewhere between 150 and 400 crawlable URLs, which means the free plan stops partway through your product catalogue.
That is the practical difference. At 1,000 pages the free plan finished the job and told you what was broken. At 100 it returns a partial list, and a partial technical audit is arguably worse than none, because it looks complete.
The New Professional Tier, and Who It Is Actually For
The interesting thing about inserting a tier at $109.90 is what it did to the people already on Premium.
Premium was 3 projects, 25,000 pages and 300 keywords before the change, and it still is. It simply costs 39.8 percent more. Everything that grew went into the new tier: Professional gets 7 projects, 50,000 pages, 700 keywords and up to 3 team member accounts.
So a Premium subscriber does not get more for the increase. They pay more for what they had, and the growth path that used to be a jump to Agency at $200 now has a stop at $109.90. Whether that is generous or clever depends on whether you needed the intermediate step.
If you are on Premium and outgrowing it, Professional is probably the right destination, and it is cheaper than the old jump to Agency was. If you are on Premium and comfortably inside the limits, you are paying 40 percent more for an unchanged product.
What Each Paid Tier Gates
These are the current limits as published on the pricing page.
| Basic | Premium | Professional | Agency | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Projects | 1 | 3 | 7 | 20 |
| Pages per crawl | 100 | 25,000 | 50,000 | 100,000 |
| Keywords tracked | 10 | 300 | 700 | 2,000 |
| Competitors per project | Not listed | 20 | 25 | 30 |
| Daily tool requests | 5 | 50 | 100 | 200 |
| Parallel crawlers | Not listed | 3 | 4 | 5 |
| Team member accounts | No | No | Up to 3 | Unlimited |
| Phone support | No | No | No | Yes |
The daily tool request limit is a shared pool across the standalone tools, so the Keyword Research Tool, SEO Checker, Ranking Checker and the TF*IDF tool all draw from the same 5, 50, 100 or 200. If you lean on the TF*IDF tool for content, Premium’s 50 a day goes faster than it sounds.
How Rank Tracking Actually Updates
This is the claim I have seen repeated most often about Seobility, including on this site before, and the published detail is more specific than “daily rank tracking”.
On every paid plan, desktop rankings within the first two pages of Google update daily. Mobile rankings within the first two pages update every three days. Everything beyond page two, up to position 100, comes from snapshots refreshed every 2 weeks.
If you want daily data deeper than page two, that is a paid add-on, and the price depends on your tier. Seobility lists these add-ons in euros.
| Daily tracking add-on | Premium | Professional | Agency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Daily top 50 | €5.90/mo | €13.90/mo | €34.90/mo |
| Daily top 100 | €12.90/mo | €24.90/mo | €59.90/mo |
| Extra 100 keywords, daily top 50 | €3.90/mo | €3.90/mo | €3.90/mo |
| Extra 100 keywords, daily top 100 | €5.90/mo | €5.90/mo | €5.90/mo |
These are cheaper than the add-ons were under the old price list, which is the one genuine price cut in this change. Premium with daily top-100 tracking is now €59.90 plus €12.90, which is €72.80 a month. The add-on price covers the keywords included in your plan, and extra keywords cost extra on top.
The Other Add-Ons
Projects and keywords are both extendable, again priced in euros on the page.
| Add-on | Premium | Professional | Agency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Extra project, per month | €14.90 | €9.90 | €4.90 |
| Extra 100 keywords, per month | €10.90 | €8.90 | €6.90 |
Two things changed here beyond the price. Additional projects no longer include keywords, where under the old list each extra project came with 100. And the volume discount Seobility used to publish, 10 percent from 5 extra projects and 20 percent from 10, no longer appears on the page.
That second change is easy to miss, and it matters most to exactly the people the discount was for.
Building the Store, Not Just Auditing It?
SEO tooling is one line item. Suppliers, entity, store and launch are the rest. We build all of it with you.
How This Compares to How Others Charge
One reason a price rise stings on a tool like this is that the whole category has drifted toward metered subscriptions, and there are still alternatives that have not.
Screaming Frog sells an annual licence per user rather than a monthly subscription, and runs on your own machine. There is no rank tracking and no scheduled cloud crawling, so it is not a replacement for everything Seobility does, but for the specific job of crawling a site and listing what is broken it is a different billing shape entirely.
SE Ranking is the closest like-for-like, a subscription platform covering site audit, rank tracking, keyword research and backlinks in one place. It is the tool I would price first against Seobility Premium, because at $69.90 the two are now competing rather than sitting in different budget brackets.
The wider point is worth holding onto. A 40 percent increase is only a problem if you are locked in, and with SEO tooling you generally are not. Your data is a crawl of a site you own. Switching costs are a weekend of learning a new interface, not a migration.
The Trial, and What It Asks For
Every paid plan, Premium, Professional and Agency, comes with a 14-day free trial.
It requires a card. Seobility’s own wording: “Please note that we will ask for a valid payment method during the signup process. However, rest assured that we won’t charge you anything if you decide to cancel before the end of your free trial period.”
The free Basic account is different and asks for nothing: “No pressure, no credit card.”
On cancellation, the terms are good. Monthly plans renew monthly and annual plans renew annually, and Seobility says you “can cancel your subscription anytime without a cancelation period.”
What Seobility Does Not Publish
Any refund policy. There is no money-back guarantee and no refund window stated on the pricing page. That is not the same as refusing refunds, but you should not count on one.
Anything about existing customers and the price change. Seobility published no grandfathering or transition terms when it announced the new list. If you were a subscriber before 18 September, check your next invoice rather than assuming your old rate carries on.
Add-on prices in dollars. The plan prices are published in USD, EUR and GBP, but the add-on prices appear in euros only in the page data. Confirm the dollar amount at checkout.
API access. The word does not appear on the pricing page. There is a Seobility MCP connector, labelled Beta, for connecting an AI assistant to your data. If an integration is why you are buying, confirm it before you do.
The VAT Question, Because This Is a German Company
Seobility GmbH is based in Nuremberg, and every price on the page is net of VAT.
Its published rule: customers in Germany pay VAT, customers elsewhere in the EU are not charged sales tax if they provide a correct VAT ID, and customers from all other countries do not pay VAT.
For a US buyer that means the dollar figure is what you pay. For an EU business, confirm your VAT ID is applied at checkout.
The Claims, Labelled as Claims
Seobility says it has “More than 800,000 happy users”. That is the company’s own number and unaudited. It said 600,000 on the same page a week before the price change, so treat it as marketing rather than a measured figure.
Its pricing page carries endorsements from several well-known SEO figures, including a “#1 recommended Site Audit Tool” line attributed to Brian Dean. Those are testimonials the vendor selected and published, not independent tests.
The price list advertises AI Visibility Tracking with per-tier prompt allowances, 15 on Premium, 50 on Professional and 250 on Agency, and labels it “Coming Soon”. It is a roadmap item rather than a feature you can use, so do not pay for a tier on the strength of it.
Is It Still Worth It?
My honest read, and it has changed.
The free plan is no longer a reason to choose Seobility. At 100 pages with a limited audit it will not cover an ecommerce store, and recommending it as a free site auditor is no longer defensible.
Premium at $69.90 is a different value proposition to Premium at $50. It is still cheaper than the large suites, but the gap has narrowed enough that the comparison is now a real one rather than a formality.
It remains strong at what it is actually good at, which is scheduled technical crawling with a clear issue list, on-page analysis and TF*IDF content guidance. If that is the job, it still does it well.
Rank tracking got slightly better value. Daily page-one and page-two desktop tracking is included, and the deeper daily add-ons are cheaper than they were. If rank tracking was your hesitation, it is less of one now.
I went through the field properly in the Seobility alternatives comparison, including the tools that bill on a completely different model.
Where SEO Tooling Sits in the Build Order
Worth saying, because buying an SEO tool feels productive and often is not.
A crawler tells you what is broken on a site that exists, selling products you already source. It does not create demand and it will not rescue a store with nothing worth ranking. Pre-launch, this is not the line item to optimise.
What matters at that stage is what you sell, which the high-ticket niches list covers at no cost.
Supplier approval is the genuine bottleneck in this business and no audit tool moves it. The whole process is in the supplier sourcing guide.
Distributors want a registered entity before discussing terms, which the business formation guide walks through. If the model itself is still open, read what high-ticket dropshipping actually is before subscribing to anything monthly.
The Free Plan Shrank by 90 Percent
If the free audit was your reason for choosing Seobility, here is what to use instead.
Common Questions
How much does Seobility cost in 2026?
Premium is $69.90 a month or $671.04 a year, Professional is $109.90 a month or $1,055.04 a year, and Agency is $239.90 a month or $2,303.04 a year. All prices are net of VAT. The Basic plan is free.
When did Seobility raise its prices?
On 18 September 2026. Before that, Premium was $50 a month and Agency was $200, and there was no Professional tier.
Is Seobility’s free plan still worth using?
Only for a very small site. It now crawls 100 pages with a limited audit, down from 1,000, which does not cover a typical ecommerce store.
Does Seobility track rankings daily?
Desktop rankings on the first two Google pages update daily on paid plans, and mobile every three days. Positions beyond page two refresh every 2 weeks unless you add a daily top 50 or top 100 add-on, which starts at €5.90 a month on Premium.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 14 days on every paid plan, and it requires a valid payment method. The free Basic account requires no card at all.
Does Seobility offer refunds?
It publishes no refund policy or money-back guarantee on the pricing page. You can cancel at any time with no notice period, which is a different thing.
How much do I save with annual billing?
20 percent on every tier. Premium is $838.80 over a year paid monthly, or $671.04 paid annually.
