EverBee Review 2026: Worth It for Etsy Sellers?

I get asked about Etsy research tools almost as much as I get asked about high-ticket dropshipping suppliers, and one name comes up more than any other right now: EverBee. If you’ve spent any time in Etsy seller Facebook groups or watched a “how I found my winning product” video in the last year, you’ve seen that Chrome extension overlay showing estimated sales on every listing you browse.

I run E-Commerce Paradise, and while my main focus is high-ticket dropshipping stores, a good chunk of my audience also runs or wants to run an Etsy shop on the side. It’s a completely different model than what I teach over at my high-ticket dropshipping guide, lower price points, handmade or print-on-demand goods, way more listings, but the research problem is the same: you’re flying blind until you have real data on what’s actually selling.

So I spent real time in EverBee this year, pulled pricing straight from their site, dug through Trustpilot and third-party accuracy audits, and compared it head to head against Marmalead and eRank. Here’s my honest take on whether EverBee earns a spot in your Etsy toolkit in 2026, and where it falls short.

Stop Guessing Which Etsy Products Will Actually Sell

EverBee has tracked over $7.2 billion in combined Etsy sales across 1M+ sellers and 206 million listings, so you can see what’s already working before you list a single product.

What Is EverBee, Exactly?

EverBee is a product research, keyword research, and analytics platform built specifically for Etsy sellers, made by EverBee, Inc. The core product is a Chrome extension that overlays estimated sales, revenue, and other performance data directly on top of Etsy’s search results and listing pages, plus a web dashboard where you do deeper keyword and shop research.

The pitch is simple: instead of guessing whether a product idea will sell, you search Etsy with the extension running and instantly see estimated monthly sales, revenue, and how long a listing has been live for anything that shows up in your results. According to EverBee’s own numbers, the platform has analyzed over 206 million Etsy listings and tracks more than 10 million keywords, and sellers using it have collectively generated over $7.2 billion in Etsy sales as of mid-2026.

It’s built for three types of Etsy sellers: people validating a product idea before they invest time making it, established sellers trying to find better keywords for existing listings, and sellers who want to spy on what’s working in competitor shops. If that’s you, EverBee is worth a serious look, but the details matter, so let’s get into what it actually does.

I’ll say this upfront since it colors everything below: EverBee is genuinely good at what it does well, and genuinely frustrating in a couple of specific ways I’ll walk through. Don’t skip the pricing and accuracy sections just because the feature list looks shiny.

Core Features

Product and Sales Research

This is EverBee’s bread and butter. Search any keyword on Etsy with the extension active and you’ll see a data overlay on every listing showing estimated monthly sales, estimated revenue, total reviews, and how long the listing has existed. You can also punch a keyword or product idea directly into the EverBee dashboard and get a ranked list of top-performing listings for that term.

What I like here is the shop analyzer. You can drop in a competitor’s shop URL and see their best-selling products, total estimated revenue, and how their catalog has grown over time. If you’re trying to figure out whether a niche is worth entering, watching how a top shop in that niche built out their listing count over 12 to 24 months tells you a lot more than a single snapshot does.

Keyword Research Tool

EverBee’s keyword tool scores search terms on volume, competition, and a proprietary “score” that’s supposed to represent how winnable that keyword is for a new listing. On the free Hobby plan you get 10 keyword lookups total, which is genuinely not enough to do real research. The Growth plan bumps you to unlimited keyword research with scoring, plus a tag analyzer that tells you which of your existing tags are actually pulling traffic.

I compared this against the Etsy keyword research tools I’ve reviewed on the blog, and EverBee’s keyword scoring is solid but not as deep as eRank’s historical search volume data, more on that comparison in a bit.

Listing Optimization and EverBee AI

This is the newer part of the platform. EverBee’s AI Actions integrate with Gemini, ChatGPT, and Claude to help you iterate on listing titles, tags, and descriptions, and there’s now MCP (Model Context Protocol) access on every paid plan, which lets you query your EverBee data through an AI assistant instead of digging through the dashboard manually. The Growth plan includes 100 AI actions per month, and Business is unlimited.

It’s a genuinely useful add-on if you’re already using AI tools in your workflow, but I wouldn’t buy EverBee for the AI features alone. Treat it as a nice bonus on top of the research data, not the main event.

Financial and Profit Calculator

EverBee’s fee calculator shows your real profit on any sale after Etsy’s transaction fees, listing fees, and payment processing fees, and you can plug in your material and shipping costs to see true margin before you ever list a product. It’s a small feature but a genuinely practical one. I’ve seen too many new Etsy sellers price a product, get excited about the “sale,” and then realize Etsy’s fees ate a third of their margin. Running the numbers through this calculator before you commit to a price point takes five minutes and saves that headache.

Browser Extension Workflow

In practice, here’s how most sellers actually use EverBee day to day: install the Chrome extension, browse Etsy search results like you normally would, and let the data overlay do the work in the background. When something catches your eye, sales estimates and listing age show up right there without switching tabs. It’s the same “search and scan” workflow eRank and Marmalead’s extensions use, but EverBee’s overlay is cleaner and loads faster than most of the alternatives I’ve tested.

Skip the Guesswork, Not the Honest Caveat

No research tool can see Etsy’s private sales data. EverBee’s estimates are for spotting trends and comparing listings against each other, not for treating as exact numbers.

How Accurate Are EverBee’s Sales Estimates, Really?

I need to be straight with you here because this is the single most common complaint I see about every Etsy research tool, not just EverBee. None of these platforms, EverBee included, have access to Etsy’s actual private sales data. What you’re seeing is a model’s best guess, built from public signals like review counts, listing age, and shop totals, not a real number pulled from Etsy’s backend.

A detailed accuracy audit from SellerAIReady found EverBee tends to systematically undercount sales. One example: a seller with 40 actual sticker sales saw EverBee display zero. Another shop moving roughly 7,000 units a month showed up as around 1,000 in the tool. A separate tracker following 50 shops over time found EverBee’s estimates ran at roughly one-seventh of actual monthly sales on average.

Here’s the thing though: that doesn’t make the tool useless, it makes it a tool for relative comparison, not absolute truth. If EverBee says Listing A is outperforming Listing B by 3x, that ranking is probably directionally right even if both underlying numbers are off. What you should never do is take a single displayed number like “1,240 sales/month” and treat it as gospel when deciding whether to enter a niche. Use EverBee to compare, not to forecast your exact revenue.

What Real Users Say

EverBee sits at 3.2 out of 5 stars on Trustpilot from 55 reviews as of this writing, which tells you there’s a real split in the user base. On the positive side, reviewers consistently praise the depth of the research data for validating product ideas, and several mention the customer support team being genuinely responsive, including live Tuesday guidance calls the company runs for users. Sellers report using the tool to help build out multiple successful shops.

The complaints cluster around three things. First, billing: multiple reviewers describe surprise auto-renewal charges around $240 for the year, a refund window as short as three days, and difficulty getting a cancellation to actually stick. Second, data quality: export delays running 5 to 10 minutes, tags missing from extension data, and the accuracy issue I just walked through where sales show as zero despite a listing clearly having reviews. Third, some users report promotional discounts (50% off, buy-one-get-one deals) not applying the way they were advertised.

On the flip side, EverBee’s Chrome extension itself is well-liked on a standalone basis. The listing on the Chrome Web Store shows a strong rating across a large installed base, which is a solid signal that the core browsing experience works well even when the underlying billing and accuracy complaints exist elsewhere. My honest read: the product does what it says on the tin for research, but read the fine print on annual billing before you commit, and set a calendar reminder before your renewal date.

EverBee Pricing in 2026

EverBee runs a three-tier structure: a genuinely free Hobby plan, a Growth plan for active sellers, and a Business plan for shops running at scale. Pricing pulled directly from EverBee’s site as of September 2026 is below, but Etsy tool pricing shifts often, so double-check the current numbers before you buy.

Plan Price Best For Key Limits/Features
Hobby (Free) $0/month, forever Testing the waters 10 keyword lookups, 5 saved keywords, 5 saved shops, 1 folder, basic analytics only (no sales/revenue data)
Growth $24.99/month, or $299/year billed annually (about 36% off) Active sellers doing regular research Unlimited keyword research with scoring, tag analyzer, 100 AI actions/month, 3 store connections, up to 1,000 saved keywords
Business $69/month billed annually ($828/year), roughly $99/month billed monthly Multi-shop sellers and agencies Unlimited keywords, filters, AI actions, and store connections; trend tracking across 3/6/12/24+ month windows

The free plan is genuinely usable for kicking the tires, no credit card required, but it hides sales and revenue estimates, which is the entire reason most people want the tool in the first place. If you’re serious about product research, budget for Growth at minimum. Annual billing is the only real discount on the table here, so if you’re committing for a year anyway, take it.

Pros and Cons

Pros Cons
Fast, clean Chrome extension overlay that works directly on Etsy search results Sales estimates can drift significantly on low-volume listings, treat as directional not exact
Genuinely free plan with no credit card required to start Free tier hides the sales/revenue data that’s the main reason to use the tool
Deep competitor shop analysis with historical growth tracking 3-day refund window on paid plans and reported auto-renewal surprises
Built-in fee and profit calculator saves real margin math Etsy-only, no support for Amazon Handmade, eBay, or other marketplaces
AI Actions and MCP integration for sellers already using ChatGPT or Claude Business plan gets expensive fast for solo sellers at $69 to $99/month

Who Should (and Shouldn’t) Use EverBee

EverBee makes the most sense if you’re actively launching new products and need to validate demand before you invest hours making something nobody’s searching for. It’s also a strong fit if you’re running a handmade or print-on-demand shop and want to keep tabs on what a handful of competitor shops are doing month over month.

I’d skip it, or at least stick to the free plan, if you’re brand new with fewer than a handful of listings, since the Growth plan’s cost doesn’t make sense until you have consistent traffic to optimize. It’s also not the right tool if keyword research alone is your priority, eRank does that specific job for less money, which I’ll get into below.

If your Etsy shop eventually grows into something you want to formalize as a real business, separate from a hobby account, that’s the point where I’d point you toward my complete guide to business formation. Plenty of Etsy sellers wait too long to set up an LLC and end up exposed personally once revenue climbs.

EverBee vs. Marmalead vs. eRank

These three tools get compared constantly because they solve overlapping but distinct problems, and I’ve used all three enough to have opinions. I also covered all three in my broader roundup of the best AI tools for Etsy sellers if you want the full field of options.

eRank is the keyword research specialist. It starts with a genuinely usable free plan (5 keyword lookups a day, 25 rank checks) and its paid tiers run from $5.99 to $29.99 a month, meaningfully cheaper than EverBee across the board. Where eRank wins is depth of historical keyword data and listing audits with letter grades. Where it loses is product-level sales estimates, which just aren’t its focus. If keyword research is 90% of what you need, eRank is the better value.

Marmalead is the forecasting play. Instead of showing historical averages like most tools, Marmalead’s MarmaMeters forecast search demand for the next 30 days, which is a genuinely different approach. It runs $19/month billed monthly, or as low as $16/month on an annual plan, with a $300 lifetime option for sellers who want to lock in one payment forever. Marmalead’s Trustpilot score runs lower than EverBee’s on most review aggregators, so weigh that against the forecasting upside. If you want to try it, Marmalead is worth a look specifically for that forward-looking data.

EverBee wins on the combination of product-level sales estimates and a slick browsing extension experience, plus the profit calculator neither competitor matches as cleanly. If you need to validate whether a specific product idea will sell before you make it, EverBee is doing a job the other two aren’t built for. My honest take: a lot of serious sellers end up running eRank for keyword depth and EverBee for product validation side by side, since they’re genuinely complementary rather than true head-to-head replacements.

My Verdict: Is EverBee Worth It?

I’m giving EverBee a 7.5 out of 10. It’s a well-built, fast tool that does exactly what it promises for product research and sales validation, and the free plan is a legitimately safe way to try it before you spend anything. The Chrome extension experience is best in class among the tools I’ve tested.

Where it loses points: the accuracy gap on low-volume listings is real and documented, the billing and refund policy has burned enough users to show up repeatedly in reviews, and Business-tier pricing is steep for a solo seller. If you go in treating the sales numbers as directional signals instead of exact figures, and you set a reminder before your annual renewal, EverBee earns its spot in your toolkit. If you’re expecting precision down to the dollar, you’ll be disappointed, and that’s true of every tool in this category, not just this one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is EverBee actually free to use?
Yes, the Hobby plan is free forever with no credit card required. It’s limited to 10 keyword lookups and basic listing analytics like views and reviews, but it hides the sales and revenue estimates that most sellers are actually looking for, so treat it as a trial rather than a full solution. Check current details at EverBee.

How accurate are EverBee’s sales estimates?
Not perfectly accurate, and no competitor tool is either, since none of them can see Etsy’s private sales data. Independent audits have found EverBee tends to undercount actual sales, sometimes significantly on lower-volume listings. Use the numbers to compare listings against each other, not as an exact forecast of what you’ll sell.

Is EverBee better than eRank or Marmalead?
It depends what you need. EverBee is stronger for product-level sales validation and has the cleanest browser extension. eRank is cheaper and deeper for pure keyword research. Marmalead’s forecasting approach is unique but comes at a similar price point to EverBee’s Growth plan. Many serious sellers use EverBee and eRank together rather than picking just one.

Does EverBee work for print-on-demand and digital product Etsy shops?
Yes, EverBee’s keyword and product research works the same regardless of whether your listings are handmade, print-on-demand, or digital downloads, since it’s pulling data from public Etsy listings rather than your production method.

Can I cancel my EverBee subscription anytime?
You can cancel, but be aware the refund window on paid plans has been reported as short as three days, and annual plans auto-renew without an advance reminder in some user reports. Mark your renewal date on a calendar and cancel a few days early if you’re not continuing.

Etsy research tools like EverBee are useful, but they’re not a substitute for actually understanding your niche and your numbers.
