SellerForge Alternatives: 5 Amazon Seller Tools Compared

Why Look for a SellerForge Alternative?

I run Ecommerce Paradise and spend a lot of my time testing the software that Amazon sellers actually pay for, not just whatever gets pushed hardest in affiliate roundups. SellerForge is one of the more interesting tools I’ve looked at recently. It’s an AI operating system built on Claude that scans your Seller Central and Ads account and tells you, in dollar terms, where you’re leaking profit through unclaimed FBA reimbursements, wasted PPC spend, listing problems, and account health risks.

That said, SellerForge isn’t the only option, and it’s not automatically the right fit for every seller. Some people want an all-in-one legacy suite with a decade of features baked in rather than a newer AI-copilot approach. Some sellers have outgrown a flat monthly fee and need enterprise-grade support with a dedicated account manager. And some just want a cheap analytics dashboard that tracks profit and orders without paying for research tools, ad automation, or a chat-based assistant they’ll never open.

Below are five real alternatives worth considering: Helium 10, Jungle Scout, SellerApp, Sellerboard, and Teikametrics. I’ll break down what each one actually does, what it costs, who it fits best, and specifically how it differs from SellerForge so you’re not comparing apples to oranges.

Quick Comparison Table

Tool Starting Price Standout Differentiator
Helium 10 $99/mo (billed yearly) Full research-to-PPC suite with the widest feature set of the group
Jungle Scout $29/mo Best-known browser extension for product and market research
SellerApp $0 (free plan) Genuine freemium tier before you ever pay a dollar
Sellerboard $15/mo (billed yearly) Cheapest real-time profit and order dashboard on this list
Teikametrics $149/mo (billed yearly) AI ad optimization built specifically for PPC, with a percentage-of-spend pricing model at scale

Every one of these tools takes a different angle on the same core problem: Amazon sellers are sitting on data they don’t have time to dig through. SellerForge answers that with a conversational AI copilot and staged, controllable automation. The five below mostly answer it with dashboards, research databases, and rules-based automation instead. Neither approach is wrong. It depends on how hands-on you want to be and what you’re already paying for.

1. Helium 10

Helium 10 is the closest thing to a legacy all-in-one suite in this space. It covers product and keyword research, listing tools, PPC automation, and, on the higher tiers, an AI agent and AI listing builder of its own. If you want one dashboard with a tool for nearly every task, this is usually the first name people mention.

Pricing runs on two main paid tiers. Platinum is $99/month billed yearly (or $129/month billed monthly) and targets sellers doing $0 to $100K per year, with product and keyword research, basic tracking, and limited profit reporting. Diamond is $359/month billed monthly ($279/month annually) and is aimed at the $100K to $10M/year range, adding the Helium AI Agent, AI listing builder, rules-based ad automation, inventory management, and full profit and loss reporting. Enterprise starts at $1,499/month billed annually and requires a demo, built for sellers doing $10M or more with ad spend between $25K and $1M per month.

Helium 10 is best for sellers who want research, listing optimization, and PPC tools under one login and don’t mind managing several modules themselves. Where it differs from SellerForge is scope and interaction style. Helium 10’s automation is largely rules-based, and its profit reporting and account health tracking are add-ons within a much bigger suite rather than the primary focus. SellerForge is narrower by design: it’s built specifically around finding and fixing profit leaks (reimbursements, wasted ad spend, listing conversion issues, and policy risk) using a natural-language copilot grounded in your actual account data, not a rules engine you configure yourself.

2. Jungle Scout

Jungle Scout built its name on product research, and the browser extension is still the tool most sellers associate with the brand. It’s a strong fit if finding your next product, or validating a niche before you commit inventory dollars to it, is your main pain point.

The Catalyst plan line covers sellers under $1M/year in three tiers. Starter is $29/month with one month of historical keyword data and tracking for 50 products. Growth Accelerator is $49/month, extends to a full year of keyword history, tracks 150 products, and adds review automation, rank tracking, and AI Assist automation. Professional is $129/month with two years of historical data, tracking for 2,000 products, and 10 included seats. Above $1M/year, the Cobalt plan is custom-quoted only, requiring a demo, and adds a dedicated customer success manager plus ad spend optimization. Jungle Scout does not offer a free trial on paid plans, though the extension has limited standalone free functionality.

Jungle Scout is best for sellers still in the research and validation phase, or anyone who wants deep historical keyword and market data before launching a new SKU. It differs from SellerForge in what it’s built to solve. Jungle Scout is front-loaded toward finding what to sell and tracking competitors; it isn’t built to scan an existing Seller Central account for reimbursement opportunities, flag account health violations, or run staged PPC actions the way SellerForge does. Established sellers who already have their catalog and are now focused on protecting and optimizing what they’ve built will find Jungle Scout does less of that specific job.

3. SellerApp

SellerApp is the most accessible entry point on this list because its Freemium plan genuinely costs $0 and doesn’t require a credit card. That tier includes product research, product intelligence, an advertising overview, and a campaign manager, which is enough for a brand new seller to get a feel for the platform before spending anything.

Paid tiers start with Pro at $99/month, adding deeper insights, keyword tracking, listing quality scoring, and email support. The Smart Plan with automation runs $149/month for the first three months (normally $250/month) and layers in a quarterly business review, chat support, and a dedicated account manager. A custom Enterprise tier is available by quote. SellerApp also sells separate managed services outside its software plans: listing optimization from $200 per parent ASIN and AMS Growth ad management from $750/month, both of which are done-for-you services rather than self-serve software features.

SellerApp is best for sellers who want to test drive Amazon analytics software without paying anything upfront, then graduate into paid tiers as their catalog grows. The difference from SellerForge is mainly in how automation and support are packaged. SellerForge builds adaptive automation levels (monitor-only, ask-before-acting, full auto) directly into every paid plan alongside its AI copilot, while SellerApp keeps its heavier automation and human account management as separate, higher-cost add-ons or a completely different managed service line.

4. Sellerboard

Sellerboard is the budget option here, and it’s worth taking seriously for exactly that reason. It’s a profit-analytics dashboard first, built around real-time profit tracking, refund tracking, inventory management, and an LTV dashboard, plus automated email sequences to request reviews.

Standard is $15/month billed annually ($19/month monthly) and covers 3,000 orders per month, 150 autoresponder emails, four additional seller accounts, and one extra user seat. Professional at $23/month annually ($29/month monthly) doubles the order cap to 6,000 and bumps autoresponder emails to 6,000. Business is $31/month annually ($39/month monthly) with a 15,000 order cap and eight seller accounts. Enterprise tops out at $63/month annually ($79/month monthly) for 50,000 orders and 16 seller accounts with granular access management. Every plan includes a free trial, and the full tier breakdown is on Sellerboard’s own site if you want to dig into the specifics.

Sellerboard is best for sellers who mainly want a clean, real-time view of true profit per order (after PPC, fees, and returns) without paying for research tools or an AI assistant they won’t use. Compared to SellerForge, Sellerboard is a reporting and alerting layer, not an action-taking one. It will show you a profit drop or a listing alert, but it doesn’t run a Claude-powered copilot that answers natural-language questions about your account, and it doesn’t have a dedicated account protection module for policy violations or suspension risk the way SellerForge’s four-module system does.

5. Teikametrics

Teikametrics is built almost entirely around advertising optimization through what it calls ARI, or Artificial Retail Intelligence, covering ads, catalog, inventory, and insights, plus a refunds recovery feature. If PPC efficiency is your single biggest headache, this is a tool built specifically for that problem.

Essentials is $149/month billed annually ($179/month monthly) for sellers spending up to $10,000/month on ads. Above that spend level, pricing shifts to a percentage model: the Advanced tier is custom-priced at 3% of ad spend over $10,000/month and adds Amazon DSP, Walmart Onsite Display, and Amazon Marketing Cloud integration. Enterprise uses the same percentage-of-spend structure for sellers spending $100,000 or more per month on ads and adds Teikametrics Managed Services. According to Teikametrics’ own pricing page, that percentage-of-spend model kicks in specifically once you cross the $10K/month ad spend threshold, which is worth flagging up front since it’s a meaningfully different cost structure than every other tool on this list.

Teikametrics is best for sellers whose main cost center is Amazon Ads and who are comfortable with pricing that scales alongside their ad budget. This is the sharpest contrast point with SellerForge: SellerForge charges a flat monthly fee at every tier with no percentage-of-ad-spend charges and no retainer fees, so a seller spending $50,000/month on ads pays the same Forge Pro or Forge Agency price as one spending $10,000/month. If predictable, flat software costs matter to you as you scale ad spend, that’s a real structural difference, not just a marketing line.

How to Choose Between Them

Start with what’s actually costing you money right now. If it’s wasted ad spend specifically, Teikametrics or SellerForge’s ad optimization module are both worth a look, but check whether Teikametrics’ percentage-of-spend pricing works against you once you scale past $10K/month. If it’s unclaimed FBA reimbursements or account health risk you’ve never properly audited, that’s squarely SellerForge’s core module and none of the five alternatives above have an equivalent account protection feature built the same way.

If you’re pre-launch or still validating products, Jungle Scout or SellerApp’s free tier make more sense than any profit-recovery tool, since there’s no existing account activity to scan yet. If you’re already running a catalog with real order volume and just want a clean profit dashboard without the extra research and automation features, Sellerboard at $15 to $31/month is hard to beat on price. And if you manage multiple Amazon accounts as an agency or a larger operation, compare Helium 10 Enterprise, Sellerboard Enterprise, and SellerForge’s Forge Agency plan side by side. All three have multi-account features, but SellerForge’s Agency tier at $499/month covers all Pro features across 10 Amazon seller accounts with a one-click account switcher, which is a meaningfully different pricing structure than per-seat or custom-quoted enterprise deals.

Also check the free tools before you pay for anything. SellerForge’s Instant Amazon Account Audit, Free Amazon Listing Audit, and FBA Profit Calculator cost nothing and no credit card is required for the 7-day trial on any paid plan. Run one of those first, on your own account, and you’ll know within minutes whether the paid tiers are solving a real problem or a hypothetical one.

Before you commit to a monthly bill anywhere, it’s also worth skimming user reviews on G2. Capterra is another good source for the complaints marketing pages tend to leave out, like clunky integrations or slow support response times. Real user reviews on either site usually surface those issues faster than a sales call will.

If Amazon Isn’t the Only Path You’re Considering

Everything above assumes you’re staying in the Amazon FBA lane, which is a perfectly fine choice. But if you’re earlier in the process, it’s worth knowing Amazon private label isn’t the only model for building an online business. I’ve written a full breakdown of high-ticket dropshipping as an alternative, where you build your own branded store instead of competing inside someone else’s marketplace. Picking the right niche matters there just as much as picking the right product matters on Amazon.

If that path interests you, the next step is finding suppliers who are willing to work directly with a new brand instead of only established ones. After that, getting your business formation right before you take your first order matters more than most beginners expect.

Skipping either step is a common reason first stores stall out inside the first six months. If you want the short version before diving into any of that, my free mini course covers the fundamentals in about an hour.

Final Thoughts

None of these five tools are bad choices, and I wouldn’t tell anyone they made a mistake picking Helium 10, Jungle Scout, SellerApp, Sellerboard, or Teikametrics. They each solve a real problem well. What I’d push back on is picking a tool based on brand recognition alone rather than what’s actually draining your margin this month. A $99/month all-in-one suite you use for 10% of its features isn’t cheaper than a $49/month tool that’s laser-focused on your actual bottleneck.

If you’d rather skip the trial-and-error entirely and have someone map out your whole tool stack and business systems for you, my done-for-you service handles that kind of setup directly. And if you’d rather learn to do it yourself with someone checking your work along the way, my coaching program is built for exactly that. Either way, don’t let choosing between five decent tools be the thing that stalls your progress this month.

FAQ

Is SellerForge worth switching to if I already use Helium 10 or Jungle Scout?
Not necessarily a switch. Plenty of sellers run SellerForge alongside a research tool like Jungle Scout, since SellerForge is focused on your existing account’s profit leaks and account health rather than finding new products. If your research tool has no profit-recovery or account-protection feature, adding SellerForge is more of an addition than a replacement.

Which of these alternatives is cheapest for a brand new seller?
SellerApp’s Freemium plan costs $0 with no card required, and Sellerboard’s Standard tier at $15/month billed annually is the cheapest paid option. Both are reasonable starting points if your budget is tight and you’re not ready to commit to a $99/month tier yet.

Do any of these tools charge a percentage of ad spend instead of a flat fee?
Yes. Teikametrics is the one exception on this list, moving to a 3% of ad spend model once you cross $10,000/month in Amazon Ads spend. Helium 10, Jungle Scout, SellerApp, Sellerboard, and SellerForge all use flat monthly or annual pricing regardless of how much you spend on ads.

Can I use more than one of these tools at the same time?
Yes, and many sellers do. A common combination is a research tool like Jungle Scout for finding new products, paired with a profit or account-health tool like Sellerboard or SellerForge for managing what’s already live. Just watch your total monthly software spend, since stacking three or four of these can add up fast.

Which alternative is best for an agency managing multiple Amazon seller accounts?
Helium 10 Enterprise and Sellerboard Enterprise both support multiple seller accounts, but check their per-account or per-seat costs carefully. SellerForge’s Forge Agency plan at $499/month includes 10 Amazon seller accounts with a one-click switcher and 15 org-wide seats, with additional accounts at $39/month each, which is worth comparing directly against a custom Helium 10 Enterprise quote.
