Google Fi Promo Code 2026: The $60 Referral Credit and Every Current Offer

Affiliate disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. If you buy through them, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Full disclosure

There is no secret Google Fi promo code in 2026. What Google documents is a $60 referral credit that you get by joining with a friend’s code or link, plus a short list of automatic deals that need no code at all. Most of those deals have strings attached, and several end within weeks, so the order you do things in matters more than the code itself.

I have been in ecommerce for 15+ years, and at Ecommerce Paradise I spend a lot of time reading fine print before I recommend anything a store owner pays for. A phone plan is one of the smaller lines in the budget I lay out in my guide on what high-ticket dropshipping is, but promos are where people lose the most money to terms they never read. That is the whole reason this page exists.

I read Fi’s offers page, referral page and referral terms, the Pixel promotion terms, the Best Buy offer page and the plans page on October 7, 2026. I have not signed up through any of these offers myself, so confirm every term at checkout before you pay. This is general information, not financial or tax advice, and I am not a licensed advisor.

Disclosure: I may earn a commission if you sign up through my Google Fi link, at no extra cost to you.

Google Fi referral link or code $60 bill credit for you and the person who referred you New full-service plans, US residents 18 and older No end date listed Credit arrives only after 30 consecutive days and your first bill paid in full

Best Buy Pixel offer $35 a month bill credit for 12 billing periods New accounts activating a Pixel bought at Best Buy November 1 or November 8, 2026 (Fi’s page says both) Requires buying the phone at Best Buy, limit one per account

Skip the Code Hunt and Start Fi With a $60 Credit Attached

Fi’s referral page says you and the person who referred you each get a $60 bill credit. A referral link applies the code at checkout, and the credit arrives after 30 consecutive days of service and your first bill paid in full.

Is There a Real Google Fi Promo Code in 2026?

Not in the sense most people mean. I did not find a code on Fi’s offers page that you type in to knock a percentage off a plan. The one thing Fi calls a code is the referral code, and it is tied to a person, not to a campaign.

Look at how the other offers are described. The Best Buy page says “No promo code required,” and the device deal terms say the discounted price applies automatically during checkout. In other words, the deals that exist mostly work without anything to enter.

That matters because coupon sites love to list a string of letters and call it a Fi code. I cannot verify what those sites claim, and a code that is not a referral code from a real Fi customer has nothing to attach to. If a page promises a percentage off Fi plans with a code, treat that as unconfirmed until it shows up at your checkout.

I also looked for a student, military or employer discount on the offers page and did not find one. That does not prove none exists, so check the signup screen.

How the $60 Referral Credit Works

Fi’s referral page says that when you join with a friend’s referral code, you both get a $60 bill credit. The credit is not instant. The new customer has to activate a full-service plan, keep it active for 30 consecutive days and pay the first bill in full before the credit shows up.

The referral terms add more conditions worth reading. Data-only SIMs and new group plan members do not qualify, and you can only redeem one invitation code. You must activate on a Fi-compatible device using the same email account within 30 days of checkout, and the offer is only open to US residents 18 or older who have Google Payments and Fi accounts.

The credit has limits too. Fi says it applies to monthly service costs such as data, calls, texts and device protection, and it cannot be used toward buying or financing a phone. It is not transferable and not cash, and if your service is paused the credit only appears once you reactivate.

There is a good side. Fi says referral codes do not expire, and its FAQ says the program is always available, though the amount may change. The terms also say the offer can be combined with other offers unless otherwise stated.

Where my link fits

The Google Fi button in this post is a Google Fi referral link. When I followed it, it landed on Fi’s site with a code in the address, which is how Fi says a referral link applies the code for you at checkout. Because it is a referral, I benefit if you join through it, which is why the disclosure sits near the top.

If a friend has also offered you a code, pick one. Whichever code you use when you join decides who gets the credit, and Fi’s FAQ says only one code can be used.

How to Apply a Referral Code or Link at Checkout

This follows Fi’s own referral FAQ. Menus change, so follow the on-screen prompts if they differ.

  1. If you have a referral link, click it and Fi’s site opens with the code applied to your purchase automatically.
  2. If you only have a code, go to Fi’s site, choose to join, and walk through signup until the checkout page, which is the last step.
  3. Enter the code in the promo code box on that page before you pay.
  4. Check that the $60 credit or the referral is shown on your order summary, then screenshot it.
  5. Activate your plan, keep service active for 30 consecutive days and pay your first bill in full.
  6. Watch the Fi app for the notification that your credit was approved. It then applies to later bills.

I did not find any process for adding a referral code after you have already joined. Fi’s FAQ only describes entering it at checkout, so do it before you pay. If the credit does not appear, take your screenshots to Fi support.

The Bring-Your-Own-Pixel Deal: 50% Off for 12 Months

This is the biggest saving on the list for the right person. Fi’s page says you get 50% off for 12 months when you bring a Pixel phone and join any unlimited plan, applied to new lines and to each person bringing a Pixel. It is delivered as monthly bill credits, and the offer lists October 31, 2026 as the end date (9:59 AM Pacific, or while supplies last). The promotion terms list the resulting one-line prices for 12 months: $32.50 on Unlimited Premium, $25 on Unlimited Standard and $17.50 on Unlimited Essentials.

The terms are stricter than the headline. You must be a new Fi customer, which Fi defines as someone who never had service or whose last day of service was more than 180 days before the purchase. You must activate the line on a Pixel within 30 days of signup and stay on Unlimited Premium, Standard or Essentials for the full 12 months. Flexible does not count.

Two traps stand out. Changing or suspending the account, or switching off those plans before 12 months, voids the promotion and the credits stop. Customers enrolled in a Free Trial are also not eligible, which I cover in my guide to the Google Fi free trial.

The credits apply to plan charges plus taxes and fees on the new line, but not to financing, device protection or international charges. The terms say it cannot be combined with other device promotions, though it stays valid if you later switch devices without a promotion. The FAQ on the same page is stricter and says it cannot be combined with other offers. Limit one per person.

The Best Buy Pixel Offer

Fi has a separate page for people buying a Pixel at Best Buy. The page says that when you buy any Pixel at Best Buy and activate it on Fi, you get 12 months of service through a $35 monthly bill credit for 12 consecutive billing periods. That fully covers Unlimited Essentials, or takes $35 a month off Standard or Premium.

Fi’s page also says “No promo code required.” To redeem, you sign up as a new user on that Fi page and then activate the Pixel within 30 days of checkout. The credit covers plan charges plus eligible taxes and fees on that line, but excludes device financing, device protection and international charges, and unused amounts do not roll over.

Here is a conflict you should know about. The page banner says the offer ends 11/1/26, while the FAQ below it says you must sign up before November 8, 2026 at 11:59 PM PST. I cannot tell which is correct, so assume the earlier date and confirm before you buy a phone around it.

Device Deals on fi.google.com

If you were already planning to buy a phone, the offers page lists several device deals with their own terms. As of October 7, 2026, the Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold deals give $300 off instantly and $800 back over 24 monthly credits for new lines. They also give a $10 monthly service credit for two years on Unlimited Premium, which brings the first line from $65 to $55 a month.

The terms for those Pixel deals are the part to read slowly. You need to be a new Fi customer, activate on a new Unlimited Premium plan within 30 days of shipping confirmation and stay active and in good standing for 120 consecutive days. The terms say you must keep the account active for 24 months to earn the $800 rebate, and leaving or switching plans earlier forfeits the remaining credits. Fi says that if you do not meet the conditions, the $300 is charged to your Google Pay account.

The moto g stylus 2026 deal is $200 off at purchase, available until November 17, 2026. New customers must port a number in from another carrier within 30 days of the shipping email and stay active for 120 consecutive days. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and Fold8 Ultra deals list October 7, 2026 as their end date (8:59 AM Pacific), so treat them as gone.

What Stacks and What Does Not

This is where promo posts usually get sloppy, so I will separate what the terms say from what they do not. The referral terms say the credit can be combined with other offers unless otherwise stated. The Pixel promotion terms say it cannot be combined with other device promotions, and a referral is not a device promotion.

But the FAQ on the Pixel offer page says the 50% deal cannot be combined with other offers, full stop. Fi’s own pages point in different directions, so I would not plan around referral plus Pixel promotion working. If you want to try it, check the order summary before paying and ask Fi support first. What is confirmed is the opposite case: both the referral credit and the Pixel promotion are closed to people enrolled in the free trial.

The Best Buy page says “Limit one per account” and new accounts only. I did not find a statement about combining it with a referral. If you want to use both, ask Fi support in the chat before you commit, and keep the reply.

Real Cost Scenarios for One Line

These are my own calculations from the prices and terms above, before taxes and fees, for a single line over the first 12 months. They are illustrations, not quotes. For the 50% Pixel deal I used the one-line prices Fi lists in the promotion terms ($25 on Unlimited Standard), so confirm the exact credit on your order.

Scenario Monthly price First 12 months Note
Unlimited Standard, no promotion $50 $600 The baseline for comparison
Unlimited Standard with the referral credit $50 $540 About $45 a month effective
Unlimited Essentials with the referral credit $35 $360 About $30 a month effective
Unlimited Standard with the Pixel 50% deal $25 for 12 months $300 Needs a Pixel and a new Fi account
Standard, Pixel deal and referral together (unlikely) $25 for 12 months $240 Only if both apply, and the Pixel page FAQ says it cannot be combined with other offers
Standard with the Best Buy offer $15 net $180 Requires buying a Pixel at Best Buy
Essentials with the Best Buy offer $0 on plan charges $0 The $35 credit covers the plan; the phone is separate

A $60 referral saves about $5 a month spread over a year, while the Pixel deal cuts the plan price in half. If you do not own a Pixel and are not buying one anyway, the referral is the realistic deal.

Google Fi Plan Prices to Judge Any Deal Against

A promo is only good if the plan underneath fits you. I read these prices on Fi’s plans page on October 7, 2026. They are monthly, before taxes and government fees, and Fi’s fine print says taxes and fees are normally between 10 and 20 percent.

Plan 1 line 2 lines High-speed data per person International data
Unlimited Premium $65 $110 100 GB, then 256 kbps 200+ destinations
Unlimited Standard $50 $80 50 GB, then 256 kbps Canada and Mexico
Unlimited Essentials $35 $60 30 GB, then 256 kbps None listed on the plan card
Flexible $20 plus $10 per GB $35 plus data Pay by the GB 200+ destinations

Fi’s plans page also says there is no annual service contract and no activation or cancellation fees. If you finance a device, the remaining payments are due if you leave. The FCC says providers must show broadband labels at the point of sale, and its page on broadband consumer labels says they disclose prices, introductory rates and data allowances.

Read the label for your plan before you commit. It is the fastest way to catch a promo that looks bigger than it is.

Get the Fi Deal Without Voiding It Later

Most Fi promos break if you pause, change plans or cancel early: 30 days for the referral, 120 for device deals and 12 months for the Pixel offer. Pick the plan you will actually keep, then join.

Free Trial vs Promo: Which Comes First

Fi also offers a seven-day free trial, and it collides with the deals above. Its referral FAQ says that if you have signed up for a free trial you cannot use a friend’s referral code, and the Pixel promotion terms exclude trial users. So the trial and the discounts are an either-or choice.

My own arithmetic: at $50 a month, seven days of Unlimited Standard is worth roughly $11.67 if you prorate a 30-day month. The referral is worth $60. If you already know Fi works where you live, skip the trial and take the credit, and my trial guide covers the rest of the details.

The trial is still worth it when coverage is the unknown. 9to5Google reported on a seven-day Fi trial back in March 2023, and Fi’s current trial page still describes a week alongside your existing carrier. The FTC’s consumer advice on free trials says you usually have to give a credit card number and should make a note to cancel before the trial ends, which is why a reminder on day five is a smart habit.

Who Should Skip These Offers

If you live outside the US, read the terms twice. The referral terms say the offer is only available to US residents 18 or older, and I live in Bali, so by that wording I would not qualify. If you are an expat trying to hold a US number, my guide to the best plans for keeping a US phone number abroad is a better place to start.

Skip the Pixel and Best Buy deals if you do not already want a Pixel. Skip the device deals if you are likely to leave in the first year, because you forfeit the remaining credits.

Skip Fi entirely for a business phone system. It is a personal mobile plan with a number and service, not call routing or team seats. If your store needs that, my guide to getting a second phone number for your business covers the options.

Alternatives With Their Own Starter Deals

If the promo math does not work, other carriers have their own entry offers. I read each company’s own page on October 7, 2026, and these terms change often.

Carrier Starter offer I found Price shown Catch
Visible 15-day free trial, listed as no credit card and no auto-renewal $25 a month, taxes and fees included Not a member in the last 12 months and needs an eSIM phone; runs on Verizon
Mint Mobile 3-month intro price, plus a 7-day money-back guarantee $45 upfront for 3 months on the 6 GB plan New customers only, full price after the intro period
Tello $10 in Tello credit for you and a referred friend From $5 a month I did not find a free trial

Visible is the closest thing to a no-risk test, and its taxes-included price is easier to budget. Fi’s strength is different: Premium and Flexible include international data in 200+ destinations, which not every cheap carrier offers. I compare the cheap options in my Tello vs Mint Mobile post if price is your main filter.

How I Check a Fi Deal Before I Recommend It

I keep this checklist short so you can repeat it yourself. It works on any carrier, not just Fi.

  • Open the offer’s own terms page, not a summary, and find the end date and the “new customer” definition.
  • Find the clawback rule, meaning how many days or months you must stay and what happens if you leave.
  • Check whether the discount applies automatically or needs a code, and whether a free trial disqualifies you.
  • Put the expected savings and the deadlines in your calendar, including day 30 and the 120-day and 12-month marks.
  • Screenshot the order summary at checkout so you have proof of what was promised.

The FTC’s disclosure guidance says a financial relationship with a brand, including anything of value, should be disclosed. Its page on disclosures for social media influencers is where that language comes from, and it is why the line near the top of this post says I may earn a commission. Read my recommendation with that in mind.

A Phone Plan for a Store Owner: Keep It Tidy

If you run a store, the phone is part of how buyers reach you. In the categories on my high-ticket niches list, a customer weighing a $2,000 or $5,000 order may want to talk to a person first. A reliable line matters more than the last $5 a month.

It also matters on the supplier side. Supplier and dealer applications generally ask for contact details, including a phone number, which I walk through in my guide to finding high-ticket suppliers. A line you pick up is part of looking like a real business.

When a phone plan is partly a business expense, clean records make your accountant’s job easier, and I am not a tax advisor, so ask yours how to treat it. Credits and promos change what you actually paid, so keep the statements. My business formation checklist covers the entity and banking setup that keeps this simple. If you are still starting out, my free mini course is a good first step.

My Verdict on Google Fi Promos in 2026

For most people in the US, the answer is the referral credit. It has no listed end date, it needs no phone purchase and it takes ten seconds to apply with a link. If you want it, join Fi with my referral link and confirm the credit shows at checkout before you pay.

If you already own a Pixel and are new to Fi, the 50% for 12 months deal is the better one, and it ends October 31, 2026. Do not count on stacking it with a referral, since the Pixel page FAQ says it cannot be combined with other offers. If you are buying a phone anyway, the device deals on Fi’s offers page can be worth it, but only if you are comfortable staying 24 months or you accept losing the credits.

The downsides are real. The referral credit arrives only after 30 days and a paid bill, the best deals punish you for changing plans, and Fi’s pages do not always agree with each other. If you want a second opinion on your own setup, my coaching is where to ask.

Lock In Your Fi Savings Before the Offers Roll Off

The Pixel 50% offer ends 10/31/26, the Pixel 11 deals end 11/10/26 and the moto g stylus deal ends 11/17/26. The referral credit has no listed end date, so confirm it at checkout and screenshot the order summary.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a Google Fi promo code that works right now?
As of October 2026, the only code Fi documents is the referral code, which gives you and the referrer a $60 bill credit. Other deals on the offers page apply automatically. You can use my Fi referral link and confirm the credit at checkout.

How do I use a Google Fi referral code?
If you have a link, it applies the code automatically. If you have a code, enter it in the promo code box on the last step of signup. Fi says you will get the $60 credit after 30 consecutive days of service and your first bill paid in full.

Can I stack the referral credit with the Pixel 50% deal?
Fi’s pages disagree. The referral terms say the credit can be combined with other offers unless stated otherwise, but the FAQ on the Pixel offer page says that deal cannot be combined with other offers. Do not assume they stack, and ask Fi support before you pay.

Does the Google Fi free trial work with a promo?
No. Fi’s referral FAQ says you cannot use a friend’s code after signing up for a free trial, and the Pixel promotion terms exclude customers enrolled in a free trial. If you want a discount, join directly rather than starting with the trial.

When do the current Google Fi offers end?
The Pixel 50% offer ends October 31, 2026, the Pixel 11 deals end November 10, the moto g stylus deal ends November 17, and the Best Buy offer shows November 1 and November 8 on the same page. The referral program lists no end date, though Fi says the amount may change.
