SamCart sells itself as a way to start selling without a pile of separate tools, and its pricing page lists two self-serve plans at $79 and $199 a month plus a custom done-for-you tier. The monthly price is the first number you see. The processing rate, the seat limits, and the missing annual prices decide what you actually pay. I teach ecommerce and high-ticket dropshipping at Ecommerce Paradise, I run my own stores, and my team builds stores for clients, so I judge every checkout tool by one number: what does it cost per year once real orders start?
Everything below comes from SamCart’s own pricing page as I reviewed it in October 2026. Where the page does not show a number, I write “not shown” instead of guessing. Prices and fees change, so confirm them on the live page before you pay. Some links in this article are affiliate links, which means I may earn a commission if you sign up, at no extra cost to you.
If you are still choosing a business model, my guide to what high-ticket dropshipping is explains the model I teach, and this article shows what a checkout tool adds to it.

The SamCart pricing page has a “Yearly (25% OFF)” toggle, but no annual dollar figures appear in the text I read. A 7-day free trial is stated in the page description and on the “Try Free For 7 Days” button. A permanent free plan is not shown, even though the page says “Free to Start.”

What SamCart Is
SamCart is a checkout and sales page platform, mostly used for digital products, courses, memberships, and coaching offers. Instead of a full store, you build a product page and a checkout, add upsells and bumps, and send customers to a course area or an email. That is a different job from selling physical products through a store, and the difference matters for the cost comparison later.
The pricing page lists unlimited products and pages on both paid plans. Orders and funnels are not shown as limits. Where a limit is not shown, I do not assume it is unlimited, and I suggest you ask SamCart in writing.
What the Core Plan Includes
Core is $79 a month. The page lists an AI Assistant, one-click AI product and page design, a Courses app, cart abandonment, an integration engine, and “no added fees on SamPay.” Team seats are 1, marketplaces are 1, and AI usage and video hosting are listed as limited.
For a solo seller with one product line, that is a short and clear feature set. The limits matter if you plan to grow, since a second person on the team means moving up to Pro.
What the Pro Plan Includes
Pro is $199 a month and adds everything in Core plus one-click upsells and order bumps, A/B testing, a Subscription Saver, an Affiliate Center, advanced analytics, API access with third-party processors, and 10 team seats. AI usage and video hosting move from limited to unlimited.
The page’s comparison table lists features for Core and Pro, but the included and not-included marks did not appear in the text I read. Per-plan inclusion is only confirmed for the feature lists above. If a specific feature decides your purchase, ask SamCart before you pay.
The Done For You Tier
The third tier is custom priced. The page describes it as built, optimized, and scaled for you, with white-glove service, a dedicated account manager, priority support, multiple marketplaces, and unlimited seats. It also lists “Best Processing Fee Rates Available,” without any figure.
Do not confuse this with my own done-for-you store build. SamCart’s tier is a service on a checkout platform, while mine builds a high-ticket Shopify store and recruits the suppliers for it.
SamCart Processing Fees
The page lists a SamPay rate of 2.9% plus 30 cents on both Core and Pro. Tax collection is 50 basis points on Core and 35 on Pro, which is 0.5% and 0.35%. Third-party processor fees are not shown for either plan, and a Dedicated Live Support add-on is $19 a month on any paid plan.
Here is my own math. On a $97 sale, 2.9% plus 30 cents is about $3.11, and the Core tax collection rate of 0.5% adds about 49 cents. On a $1,000 sale the processing comes to $29.30. These are illustrations from the listed numbers, not quotes, and your real cost depends on the setup you use.
What SamCart Costs Per Year
The monthly math is simple. Core at $79 is $948 a year, and Pro at $199 is $2,388 a year at the monthly price. If the 25% yearly discount applies to the full plan price, my math gives about $711 for Core and about $1,791 for Pro, but the page does not show those figures, so confirm them at checkout.
Add the processing rate to that. A seller who moves $10,000 in sales through SamPay pays roughly $290 plus 30 cents a transaction, on top of the plan. That is why I look at the processing line before I look at the plan price.
| Item | Core | Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly price | $79 | $199 |
| Twelve months at the monthly price (my math) | $948 | $2,388 |
| With 25% off, if it applies (my math) | about $711 | about $1,791 |
| SamPay rate | 2.9% + 30 cents | 2.9% + 30 cents |
| Tax collection | 50 bps | 35 bps |
How to Decide Between Core and Pro
Start with the team. If you work alone and one seat is enough, Core covers the basics and costs $120 a month less. If a second person needs to edit pages or see reports, Pro’s 10 seats are the reason to pay the difference.
Next, look at the revenue features. Order bumps, one-click upsells, A/B testing, and the Affiliate Center are listed on Pro. If your offer depends on raising the average order value, those features can pay for the plan. If you sell one simple product, they may sit unused.
Finally, price the whole year. Add the plan, the processing rate on your expected sales, the support add-on if you want it, and the tools around the checkout. If the total is more than your first few months of revenue, start on Core, or test a free plan elsewhere before you commit.
What the SamCart Page Does Not Show
Several things are missing from the text I read. The annual prices are not shown, even though a 25% discount is advertised. The refund guarantee is not shown, and the FAQ answers on trials, billing, and refunds did not come through. Limits on orders and funnels are not shown.
The page also repeats its plan cards and tables several times, so the same details appear more than once. One checkout link for the Pro yearly plan hints at a $1,790 annual figure, but the page itself keeps the Pro price at $199 a month in the yearly view. I treat that as a hint and not a fact.
How SamCart’s Price Compares With Other Checkout Platforms
A price only means something next to the others. The Systeme.io pricing page lists a Free plan, Startup at $17 a month, Webinar at $47, and Unlimited at $97, with “0% transaction fees on all plans.” Annual prices are not shown, though annual billing is marked “2 months free.”
The Kartra pricing page lists Essentials at $59 a month ($52 billed annually), Starter at $119 ($99), Growth at $229 ($189), and Professional at $549 ($429). Kartra lists a 5% transaction fee on Essentials and 0% on Starter and Growth.
Those platforms bundle email, pages, and courses, so the comparison is not one for one. The point is that SamCart’s $79 Core plan sits between Systeme.io’s low tiers and Kartra’s entry plan, and the processing rate is the line that separates them. My SamCart alternatives guide lays out all five side by side.
SamCart Versus Selling Through a Shopify Store
SamCart is built around digital offers. A Shopify store is built around physical products, inventory, shipping, and apps. The Shopify pricing page lists Basic at $39 a month or $29 a month billed yearly, Grow at $105 or $79, and Advanced at $399 or $299.
For high-ticket physical products, that is the model I teach and build. You sell products priced in the hundreds or thousands of dollars through US supplier brands, and the checkout is part of the store. My Shopify pricing breakdown goes through the tiers.
SamCart Versus a Done-for-You High-Ticket Build
| Question | SamCart | Ecommerce Paradise done-for-you |
|---|---|---|
| How you pay | $79 or $199 a month plus processing | $4,997 one time for the 10-supplier build |
| What you sell | Mostly digital offers and courses | High-ticket products from 10 US supplier brands |
| Who builds it | You, on SamCart’s templates | A custom-designed Shopify store built for you |
| Timeline | Fast to launch a page | Typically 2 to 3 months, with ads live within 90 days of onboarding |
I want to be fair about the trade. SamCart is faster and cheaper to start, and the monthly price is easy to see. My done-for-you service costs more up front and takes longer, and its page says no revenue or profit is guaranteed and that payments are non-refundable once made. It is not passive income either, since you still handle customer service, order processing, and fraud checks.
Ad spend, software, supplier payments, business formation, and taxes are separate costs on top of the $4,997 build. What you get is a business with its own Shopify store and US supplier relationships. My turnkey store review covers it the way I review everyone else’s.
Who SamCart Pricing Fits
The pricing fits a solo seller of digital products or courses who wants a clean checkout and is willing to pay $79 a month for it. It also fits a small team that needs the Pro features, such as upsells, bumps, and an affiliate center, and has the sales volume to cover $199 a month.
A 7-day trial is a short window, so plan your test ahead of time. Build one product page and one checkout before you start the clock.
Who Should Look Elsewhere
Look elsewhere if you sell physical products, since SamCart’s focus is digital offers. If you are still choosing what to sell, my high-ticket niches list is a good place to start. Look elsewhere too if you want a free plan, since none is shown, or if you want a lower monthly price. My SamCart alternatives guide compares ThriveCart, Systeme.io, Kartra, PayKickstart, and Shopify.
If you are weighing course platforms, my Kajabi pricing guide shows how another all-in-one tool prices its plans.
Questions to Ask SamCart Before You Pay
Ask for the annual prices in writing and whether the 25% discount applies to both plans. Ask what the refund terms are, since the page does not show them. Ask whether orders or funnels are capped on either plan.
Ask how third-party processors are charged, since the page shows no fee for them. Ask what happens to your pages and customer list if you cancel. Keep the answers, because they are your proof if something changes later.
A Simple 30-Day Test Plan
If you decide to try SamCart, use the 7-day trial. Before you start, write your product page, your price, and your upsell. In the first few days, build the checkout and run a test purchase.
Before the trial ends, calculate your margin on one sale after the processing rate. If the number is thin, cancel before the trial converts. Check the cancellation steps now, not after the first charge.
Costs to Watch as You Grow
The first cost is the plan jump from Core to Pro, which is $120 more a month. The second cost is the processing rate, which grows with every sale. The third cost is the support add-on at $19 a month.
The fourth cost is everything outside SamCart: ads, email software, and your time. Add these up before you scale spend, not after.
Hiring Help for Your Store
A business runs on repeatable tasks like product uploads, customer replies, and order checks. A virtual assistant from OnlineJobs.ph can handle those from a short written guide. Write your standards first, then hand the work over.
For a one-off job such as a sales page graphic or a logo, a freelancer on Fiverr can save you time. Share access carefully and remove it when the job ends.
Common Pricing Mistakes
The first mistake is judging the offer by the headline price and skipping the processing rate. The second mistake is choosing a tool built for digital offers when you sell physical products.
The third mistake is starting before the business exists on paper. If you have not formed your company, read my guide to business formation for high-ticket dropshipping. To file an LLC quickly, Bizee is one option I recommend.
The fourth mistake is never learning how suppliers work. My guide to finding suppliers for high-ticket products shows what a real supplier relationship looks like.

Final Verdict on SamCart Pricing
SamCart is a clean checkout tool with two clear self-serve prices, $79 and $199 a month. The processing rate, the missing annual prices, and the missing refund terms are what you need to check before you pay.
If you sell digital offers and want a quick checkout, the 7-day trial is a reasonable way to look. If you want a business with physical high-ticket products, suppliers you can rely on, and a store you control, build it on Shopify. That is the model I teach and the one my team builds.
