I could not find a ZenBusiness promo code that ZenBusiness itself publishes in October 2026, and I am not going to give you a made-up one. What I can verify is smaller and more useful: a Starter LLC package at $0 plus state fees, a free first year of its Worry-Free Compliance service on that package, a 30-day trial of its website builder, and a 60-day money-back guarantee on formation plans.

I have been in ecommerce for 15+ years, and at Ecommerce Paradise I treat a discount the way I treat a supplier promise: if I cannot see the terms, I do not count the savings. If you are forming a company before you launch a store, my guide on what high-ticket dropshipping is explains the business that entity will actually run.

This article draws on ZenBusiness’s own LLC page, pricing page and terms of use, plus NerdWallet, the IRS, the SBA, the FTC and the Texas Secretary of State, all read on October 7, 2026. I did not place an order or reach a ZenBusiness checkout screen for this piece, so I report what the pages say and flag what I could not see. This is general information, not personalized legal or financial advice, and I am not a lawyer, accountant or licensed advisor.

Disclosure: I may earn a commission if you sign up through my ZenBusiness link, at no extra cost to you. I could not confirm that my link adds any discount or changes how a promo code behaves, so treat it as a way to start an order and not as a coupon.

Form Your LLC for $0 Plus State Fees and Skip the Coupon Hunt

ZenBusiness lists a Starter package at $0 plus state fees, a 60-day money-back guarantee on formation plans, and a 100% accuracy guarantee on filings. Check every line of the order summary before you pay.

Is There a ZenBusiness Promo Code in 2026?

Not one I could verify. ZenBusiness’s home page, LLC page and pricing page all showed prices and built-in extras, but no banner and no code to type in. A few pages I tried at common promotion addresses returned errors, which does not prove that no offer exists. It only means I could not read one.

Independent coverage points the same way. NerdWallet’s ZenBusiness review, last updated March 17, 2026, covers pricing, add-ons and auto-renewal complaints, and it names no coupon code.

That matters because “ZenBusiness promo code” is a high-volume search, and plenty of sites will promise you a code. I would not rely on any of them without seeing the discount in the order summary before you pay.

The Offers ZenBusiness Actually Publishes

Five things are worth knowing about, and only some of them behave like a discount. The rest are pricing structure, which is why they are easy to overstate.

The $0 Starter Package

ZenBusiness’s LLC page lists three packages: Starter at $0, Pro at $199 and Premium at $299, each plus state filing fees. Starter covers the name availability search, the articles of formation filing, a dashboard, Velo AI guidance and a 100% accuracy guarantee, with standard processing of 7 to 10 business days. If you only need the filing handled, you can start with the Starter package.

The state fee is the part ZenBusiness cannot discount. The SBA says that in most cases the total cost to register your business will be less than $300, though fees vary by state and structure, according to its register your business guide. As one example, the Texas Secretary of State lists a $300 filing fee on its Form 205 certificate of formation for an LLC.

Worry-Free Compliance Free for a Year

The Starter package includes one optional free year of Worry-Free Compliance, which then renews at $199 a year. The service covers state-required annual report filings and up to 2 amendments a year. ZenBusiness’s terms of use add that it needs 14 business days to do due diligence before processing compliance reports, and that the protections do not take effect until 14 days after you select and pay.

Here is the catch. “Free for a year” is an introductory period, and the page says special offers renew at their regular price unless you cancel. Put a reminder in your calendar for before the year ends.

The 30-Day Website Builder Trial

Every package includes a 30-day special offer for ZenBusiness’s AI website builder. The LLC page says the trial is preselected at checkout, can be removed before you buy, and renews at $15 a month after 30 days. The terms of use say a card is required for a trial and that once the trial ends the card is charged at the then-current price.

That is a fair offer if you want the tool. It is a recurring charge if you do not notice the box, so look for it on the order summary.

The 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee

ZenBusiness backs formation plans with a 60-day money-back guarantee. It is narrower than it sounds, and I cover the cutoffs in the refunds section below. The related 100% accuracy guarantee is different: the page says that if there are errors in your filing, the team will make it right.

Free Tools Next to the Paid Ones

The EIN is the big one. ZenBusiness lists an EIN at $99 on Starter and includes it in Pro and Premium. The IRS says: “Beware of websites that charge for an EIN. You never have to pay a fee for an EIN.” The online tool needs a principal place of business in the U.S. and the responsible party’s Social Security number or ITIN, and the IRS explains the free route on its EIN page.

So the $99 is a convenience fee. Some people happily pay it, especially a founder without an SSN or ITIN. Just know that is what you are buying.

The Three Packages and What Each Really Costs

Here are the packages as the LLC page showed them on October 7, 2026. All three are plus state filing fees.

Package Price Renews at Processing What the page says is included
Starter $0 Does not renew Standard, 7 to 10 business days (rush is +$79) Name search, filing, dashboard, accuracy guarantee, compliance alerts, 1 free year of Worry-Free Compliance, website builder trial
Pro $199 $199 a year 1 business day Everything in Starter, plus Worry-Free Compliance included, EIN, operating agreement template, logo builder, business insurance quote
Premium $299 $299 a year 1 business day Everything in Pro, plus Advanced Compliance Protection, domain with privacy, business email, 25+ document library, advisor consultation

The line that surprises people is the registered agent. ZenBusiness’s FAQ says registered agent service is not included in any package and costs $199 a year on any of them. Every LLC needs an agent, so factor that in before you call Starter “free.”

These add-on prices are listed on its pricing and LLC pages, and I list them so you can plan:

  • Registered agent service: $199 a year.
  • EIN: $99 one time (the IRS application is free).
  • Operating agreement template: $99 one time.
  • Business documents library: $99 one time.
  • Rush processing: +$79 on Starter.
  • Annual report filing: $100 per report, per the pricing page.
  • Logo builder kit: $60 one time.
  • Domain: $25 a year, plus $10 a year for privacy.
  • Business email: $25 a year.
  • Money Pro bookkeeping: $30 a month on Pro and Premium.

The Math: Which Package Costs Less

This is my own arithmetic on ZenBusiness’s published numbers, not a quote or a package it sells. It excludes your state fee, and it assumes you use ZenBusiness as your registered agent at $199 a year.

Scenario Year one total How I got it
Starter, nothing added $0 No agent, no EIN, no operating agreement
Starter plus agent, EIN, operating agreement, rush $476 $199 + $99 + $99 + $79
Pro plus agent $398 $199 + $199
Premium plus agent $498 $299 + $199

By that arithmetic, a founder who would buy all four extras on Starter pays $78 more than a founder who picks Pro, and Pro also folds in the compliance service and the logo builder. The Starter route only wins if you really want none of those extras, or if you bring your own registered agent.

Premium is harder to judge. Buying a domain with privacy ($35 a year), a business email ($25 a year) and the documents library ($99) separately on top of Pro would cost $159, while Premium costs only $100 more than Pro. That ignores Advanced Compliance Protection and the advisor call, so Premium comes out $59 cheaper only if you want those three extras anyway.

A discount code would need to beat those gaps to matter. A 10% code on Pro would be $19.90, so the package choice moves your total far more than any code could.

Worried the Real Price Is Higher Than the $0 Headline?

Registered agent service is $199 a year on any package, the EIN is $99 on Starter, and the website builder renews at $15 a month after its 30-day trial. Choose your package on the LLC page, then confirm every line on the order summary.

Where the Sources Disagree

A few details do not line up, and you should know about them before you rely on any single page.

What Does Premium Cost and Does It Include a Registered Agent?

ZenBusiness’s own LLC page, read October 7, 2026, shows Premium at $299 plus state fees, renewing at $299 a year, with registered agent service not included in any package. NerdWallet’s March 17, 2026 review lists the Premium LLC plan at $399 billed annually and says it includes registered agent service. I trust the company’s current page for its current prices, but the gap shows how fast review pages age, so confirm on the signup screen.

Is the First Year of Compliance Free or $99?

ZenBusiness says the Starter package includes Worry-Free Compliance free for the first year, renewing at $199 a year. NerdWallet’s review describes it as a discounted $99 for the first year and then $199 annually. One of those is out of date, and I cannot tell which from outside the checkout, so read the line on your own order summary.

What Does Registered Agent Service Cost in Year One?

NerdWallet lists registered agent service at $99 plus state fees for the first year and $199 a year after that. ZenBusiness’s current FAQ simply says $199 a year on any package. I could not find a first-year $99 price on the pages I read in October 2026.

How to Check for a Discount Before You Pay

I could not view a live ZenBusiness checkout, so I cannot tell you where, or whether, a promo box appears. These steps are how I would approach it, and menus change, so follow what your screen shows.

  1. Pick the package first on the LLC page, and write down the price shown there, including the “plus state fees” note.
  2. Start from the signup page, then watch whether the price on the order summary changes from what you wrote down.
  3. If a promo code box appears, enter a code only from a source you trust, and read the summary before you submit the order.
  4. Look for preselected extras, especially the website builder trial, and remove what you do not want.
  5. Check the registered agent line. If you plan to use your own agent or act as your own, make sure it is not on the order.
  6. Take a screenshot of the final summary so you have the price you agreed to.

The FTC’s shopping advice fits here: read the terms of the advertised deal, and check whether you have to buy something you do not want to get the low price. That is on its online shopping page, and it applies to a $0 package with paid extras as much as to anything else.

If an add-on you did not pick shows up on a card statement, contact ZenBusiness right away. Its terms say that once a trial ends you can only cancel future charges, so the sooner you act the better.

Why Coupon-Site Codes Often Do Not Work

Coupon sites earn money from clicks, which is a reason to check what they show you. I could not verify a single percent-off ZenBusiness code against a ZenBusiness page, so I will not list one. A code that does not change the order summary before you pay is not a discount.

Use these tests before you trust one:

  • It should change the price on the order summary before you submit payment.
  • The terms should say which packages it covers, because a code for one product may not work on another.
  • It should never ask for payment details anywhere except the checkout itself.

Be careful with the word “free,” too. ZenBusiness’s Starter package is $0 for its service, but your state fee is real money, and an extra you accept at checkout is real money as well. My guide to setting up ZenBusiness for a store walks through each add-on item by item.

Renewals and Auto-Renewing Add-Ons

This is where most formation bills grow. ZenBusiness’s terms of use say subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. The items that recur are the ones to watch:

  • Registered agent service: $199 a year.
  • Worry-Free Compliance after the free year on Starter: $199 a year.
  • Pro: renews at $199 a year. Premium: renews at $299 a year.
  • Website builder after the 30-day trial: $15 a month.
  • Domain with privacy and business email: included in Premium, but priced at $35 a year and $25 a year if you buy them on another package.

NerdWallet lists this as a downside. It says ZenBusiness bills its paid plans annually on an auto-renewal model, which means paying repeatedly for things you may only need once, and that its fees for an EIN and for registered agent service are higher than competitors such as Bizee and Swyft Filings.

I would put every renewal date in a calendar the day you buy. Then decide each year whether you still need the service or can handle it yourself.

Refunds and the 60-Day Guarantee

ZenBusiness’s refund policy splits by product type, and the cutoffs are firm. Check the category of what you ordered before you click buy.

  • Formation plans: backed by a 60-day money-back guarantee, but once ZenBusiness submits documents to the government it cannot refund the filing fees, including state fees.
  • Registered agent subscription: refundable within 30 days of first purchase and before ZenBusiness is appointed as your agent with the state.
  • Non-subscription products such as an operating agreement: if the order is complete and available in your dashboard, you have 7 days to request a refund.
  • Annual subscriptions: a full refund within 30 days of purchase, less state or third-party fees, with no prorated refunds after that.
  • Monthly subscriptions: no prorated refunds.
  • Websites: refundable within 14 days of initial purchase.
  • Domains: non-refundable once registered.

The terms also say that if you buy several products together and any of them has been submitted to a government agency, the entire order is not refundable. So the clock is short on the things you are most likely to want back. If you are unsure, do not start the filing until you are ready for it to be submitted.

Who Should Skip ZenBusiness or the Coupon Chase

Do not build your plan around a code if any of these fit you:

  • You only need the state filing, since Starter is $0 and there is no service price to cut.
  • You want a one-time fixed price, since Pro and Premium are annual subscriptions that renew.
  • You plan to act as your own registered agent or bring one, since the $199 a year line would be wasted.
  • You need legal advice. NerdWallet notes that legal counsel is not one of ZenBusiness’s offerings and points to LegalZoom and Rocket Lawyer for complex structures.

If price is the sticking point, compare before you choose. NerdWallet says Bizee and Swyft Filings also offer free plans, and that Bizee only charges its plan fees once. My Bizee vs ZenBusiness comparison covers who each one suits, and Northwest Registered Agent and MyCompanyWorks are worth a look too.

A cheaper first year is not a cheaper business. Compare year-two registered agent pricing, renewals and what happens when you cancel.

Do You Even Need a Formation Service for an Ecommerce Store?

That is a better question than which code to use. The SBA says an LLC protects you from personal liability in most instances, according to its business structure guide, which is why I like having one before the first order lands. But you can file with your state directly, and the entity is the smaller decision.

If you have not picked what to sell yet, start with my high-ticket niches list, because the niche decides how much you need to protect. Then work on suppliers, because a dealer agreement is a contract you should read carefully, and my supplier guide shows what to ask for before you sign one.

For the formation side, my business formation guide explains how the entity, the bank account and the tax setup fit together. My walkthrough on forming an LLC for a high-ticket dropshipping store covers the state choice and the annual compliance you take on.

Putting subscriptions on a business account in the company’s name instead of a personal card also keeps the books clean. The SBA also tells owners to talk to a business tax specialist about how an LLC is taxed, and I agree, since that conversation costs less than refiling.

My Verdict on ZenBusiness Promo Codes in 2026

I could not verify a ZenBusiness promo code, so I would not pay for or wait on one. The real savings are the ones ZenBusiness documents: a $0 Starter package, a free first year of compliance on that package, and a 60-day guarantee on formation plans. If Starter covers you, start your LLC with ZenBusiness and confirm every line before you pay.

The order I suggest is simple. Decide the package on the LLC page, use the link to start, read the order summary line by line, and cancel any trial you do not want before it renews. If a discount appears in the summary, great, and if it does not, you still know what you are paying.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a working ZenBusiness promo code in 2026?
I could not verify one. I found no code on ZenBusiness’s own pages and none in NerdWallet’s March 2026 review. If you find one, enter it at checkout and confirm the price changes in the order summary before you pay.

Is a ZenBusiness LLC really $0?
ZenBusiness’s LLC page lists the Starter package at $0 plus state fees, and it covers the name search and the filing. The state fee still applies, registered agent service is $199 a year, and extras cost more. If that fits, you can look at the Starter package and read the order summary.

Does ZenBusiness offer a free trial?
Only for add-ons. Every package includes a 30-day special offer for the website builder, which renews at $15 a month, and Starter includes one free year of Worry-Free Compliance. There is no free trial of the formation service itself, but formation plans carry a 60-day money-back guarantee.

Can I get a refund from ZenBusiness?
Sometimes. Formation plans have a 60-day guarantee, but once documents are submitted to the government the filing fees cannot be refunded. Registered agent service is refundable within 30 days and before the appointment, and annual subscriptions are refundable within 30 days.

Do I need ZenBusiness to form an LLC?
No. The SBA’s guide walks through registering your business with your state, and the IRS says an EIN is free when you apply directly with the IRS. ZenBusiness sells convenience and support on top of that, so choose it for the service and not for a coupon.
