Best ClickFunnels Alternatives in 2026: 4 Funnel Builders Compared by Price, Free Plans and Fit
Affiliate disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. If you buy through them, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Full disclosure

ClickFunnels made funnel building mainstream, and plenty of sellers still swear by it. The catch is the price. The cheapest plan is $97 a month before you add a single customer, and the limits climb quickly once your list grows. If you are paying for a funnel builder and using a fraction of it, there are cheaper ways to get the same pages, checkouts and emails.

At Ecommerce Paradise, I teach people to build online stores. Funnels matter most for high-ticket dropshipping, where buyers often need a quote, a call or a few follow-up emails before they spend. This guide compares four ClickFunnels alternatives on price, limits and fit, using each vendor’s own page checked in October 2026. Where a page does not show a number, I write “not shown” instead of guessing. Some links below are affiliate links, so I may earn a commission if you sign up, at no extra cost to you.

The Four Best ClickFunnels Alternatives at a Glance

Here is how the four compare on the cheapest paid plan, whether a free plan exists and who each one fits. Prices are in US dollars per month on the vendor’s lowest listed billing option unless I say otherwise.

Platform Cheapest paid plan Free plan Best for
systeme.io Startup at $17 Yes, 2,000 contacts Budget all-in-one funnels, email and courses
Kartra Essentials at $52 annual, $59 monthly No, 14-day trial Creators who want one tool for everything
HighLevel Starter at $97 No, 14-day trial Agencies running client accounts
Funnelish Basic at $41 annual, $49 monthly Not described Ecommerce stores that want upsells and order bumps

If you are just getting started, I would try systeme.io first because the free plan lets you test a real funnel. The sections below explain who should pick something else.

What ClickFunnels Actually Costs

To judge an alternative, you need the baseline. The ClickFunnels pricing page lists four plans. Launch is $97 a month, or $81 a month billed annually, and Scale is $197 monthly or $164 annual.

Optimize is $297 monthly or $248 annual. Dominate is listed at $5,997 a year with no monthly option. Launch allows 10,000 contacts, 2 team members, 1 workspace and 1 store. Limits on the higher plans are not shown in the text I read.

The page offers a 14-day free trial and mentions a 30-day money-back guarantee in the FAQ. It does not make clear which plans include some features, because many checkmarks are blank in the text I read.

Why Sellers Look for Something Else

The first reason is the entry price. Launch costs $972 a year on annual billing, and that is before any ad spend, products or email costs.

The second reason is limits that force an upgrade. Launch caps you at 10,000 contacts, 2 team members and 1 store, so a growing list or team pushes you toward Scale at $197 a month.

The third reason is fit. A store selling a few high-ticket products rarely needs a big team or many workspaces. A simpler tool that handles a landing page, a checkout and an email sequence is usually enough.

What to Compare Before You Switch

Start with your contact count, because every platform here prices by contacts or by plan tier. A free plan with a 2,000 contact cap is fine today and a problem when your list doubles.

Next, look at transaction fees. Some platforms charge a percentage on every sale, while others charge nothing beyond your payment processor.

Then check what is included. Email, courses, memberships and automations are bundled in some tools and sold separately in others, which changes the real cost.

Finally, test the checkout. Build one real page, send a test purchase and read the confirmation email before you commit.

1. systeme.io: Best Budget All-in-One

systeme.io is the one I recommend first, because it bundles funnels, email, courses and automations at a low price. According to the systeme.io pricing page, the Free plan never expires and includes 2,000 contacts, 3 sales funnels and 1 course.

Startup is $17 a month for 5,000 contacts, 10 funnels and 5 courses. Webinar is $47 for 10,000 contacts, 50 funnels and 20 courses, and Unlimited is $97 with unlimited contacts, funnels and courses.

The page lists a 0% transaction fee on all plans, with payments through Stripe or PayPal. It offers annual billing with “2 months free” but does not show annual prices, and some comparison-table cells are blank. It also gives conflicting details about student limits and support hours, so confirm those before you buy.

I wrote a full systeme.io vs ClickFunnels comparison. If you are moving over, my guide to migrating from ClickFunnels to systeme.io walks through it.

Best for: new sellers and small teams who want the lowest cost and room to grow.

2. Kartra: Best for All-in-One Creators

Kartra aims at creators who want pages, email, checkout and memberships in one place. The Kartra pricing page lists Essentials at $59 a month or $52 billed annually, Starter at $119 or $99, Growth at $229 or $189 and Professional at $549 or $429.

Essentials allows 500 contacts and 5 pages, with 5% transaction fees. Starter raises that to 2,500 contacts with 0% transaction fees, Growth covers 12,500 contacts and Professional covers 25,000. Every plan carries a 14-day free trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee is listed.

The page has conflicts, so read it carefully. One block lists different contact and email limits for Essentials than the plan card, and AI use numbers vary between tables. Funnel limits are not shown for any plan, and the page says annual billing saves “up to 22%.”

My Kartra review goes into the features and the trade-offs.

Best for: creators who want one subscription to run pages, email and memberships.

3. HighLevel: Best for Agencies

HighLevel is built for agencies that run many client accounts. Its pricing page lists Starter at $97 a month or $970 a year for 3 sub-accounts, Unlimited at $297 or $2,970, and Agency Pro at $497 or $4,970. Enterprise is custom priced.

The page lists a 14-day free trial. Usage-based fees apply to calls, SMS and AI, and Starter covers 3 sub-accounts.

Funnel and website limits are not shown, and usage rates for calls, SMS, email and AI link out to separate help pages. That matters, because those fees add up. My GoHighLevel pricing guide covers what you really pay beyond the plan price.

Best for: agencies and consultants who manage funnels for multiple clients.

4. Funnelish: Best for Ecommerce Upsells

Funnelish is aimed at ecommerce, with upsells and order bumps built in. Its pricing page lists Basic at $49 a month or $41 billed yearly, Pro at $99 or $83, and Advanced at $249 or $208. Enterprise is custom priced.

Basic allows up to 20,000 visitors a month and 20 funnels. Pro raises that to 100,000 visitors and 50 funnels, and Advanced is unlimited on visitors and funnels. All plans list “0% extra processing fees,” though standard Stripe fees still apply.

The page never states the trial length, and its yearly prices differ between the pricing section and the footer. Order limits are not shown. If you run a Shopify store, check how the funnel pages connect to it before you commit.

Best for: ecommerce sellers who want one-click upsells and order bumps.

Replace Three Tools With One

systeme.io bundles funnels, email and courses, and lists a 0% transaction fee on every plan. Compare that with what you pay now before you renew.

What One Year Costs on Each Platform

Monthly prices are easy to misjudge, so this table multiplies them out for a full year. It uses the lower of the two listed prices where annual billing exists, and monthly billing for systeme.io because its annual prices are not shown. It is my arithmetic, so treat it as an estimate and not a quote.

Platform Entry plan, one year Mid plan, one year
ClickFunnels Launch: $972 Scale: $1,968
systeme.io Free: $0 (Startup: $204) Webinar: $564
Kartra Essentials: $624 Starter: $1,188
HighLevel Starter: $970 Unlimited: $2,970
Funnelish Basic: $492 Pro: $996

Two cautions apply. Plan limits differ widely, so a cheaper plan with a lower contact cap is not a like-for-like swap. Funnelish’s footer also shows lower yearly prices than its pricing section, so your bill may differ.

The bigger point is the gap at the top. ClickFunnels Scale costs $1,968 a year, while a systeme.io Webinar plan on monthly billing costs $564 and lists 10,000 contacts and 50 funnels.

When ClickFunnels Is Still the Right Call

I do not tell everyone to leave. If your business already runs on ClickFunnels and the funnels convert, switching costs time that you may not get back. The higher tiers, up to Dominate at $5,997 a year, also give a larger business more room than the cheaper tools list.

The same goes for teams that already know the platform well. For a seller testing a first offer, though, a cheaper tool lets you learn before you commit a thousand dollars a year.

Which Funnel Types Each Tool Handles Best

Not every funnel is the same, and the tool that fits a lead-gen page is rarely the best fit for a full store. Match the platform to the job before you compare prices.

A lead capture funnel is the simplest. It needs a landing page, a form and a short email sequence, and every tool in this guide can do it. This is where the systeme.io free plan earns its place, because you can run it at zero cost until the list grows.

A quote request funnel suits high-ticket products. The buyer fills in a short form, you reply with a price, and the sale closes by phone or email. Here the page builder matters less than the follow-up automation, so look at how each tool tags a lead and triggers a reminder.

A direct checkout funnel with an order bump and an upsell is the ecommerce case. Funnelish is built around upsells and order bumps, while Kartra and HighLevel can also sell, so test the checkout on each before you commit. Decide which of the three funnels you will build first, then judge the platforms by how well they run that one.

How to Choose Between the Alternatives

Begin with your audience size. If you have under 2,000 contacts, systeme.io’s free plan covers you. If you have more, price the paid tiers against your real list.

Then think about email. Funnels live and die on follow-up, so look at what each tool includes. For stand-alone email, I still point people to GetResponse when they outgrow a built-in sender.

Next, think about your store. If you sell physical products, a store platform such as Shopify handles inventory and fulfillment better than any funnel builder, and funnels can sit in front of it.

Last, run a two-week test. Build one funnel on your top two picks and compare setup time, checkout feel and email delivery.

How to Migrate Without Losing Sales

Do not shut the old funnel off first. Build the new one, point a small share of traffic at it and compare conversions for a week or two.

Export your contacts and tags, and clean out dead addresses before you import. Rebuild your email sequences and test every link, because a broken thank-you page costs more than a month of software fees.

Update your domain and tracking last. Move the custom domain only when the new funnel is live, and confirm your ad pixels fire on the new pages.

Common Mistakes When Replacing a Funnel Builder

The first mistake is chasing the lowest price. A tool that cannot send the follow-up sequence your offer needs costs more in lost sales than it saves.

The second is ignoring transaction fees. Kartra’s Essentials plan lists 5% transaction fees, which on $10,000 of monthly sales is $500 on top of the plan.

The third is skipping the email rules. Any funnel that collects addresses has to follow the law, and the FTC explains the requirements in its CAN-SPAM compliance guide, which says the rules apply to all commercial email.

The fourth is moving everything at once. Migrate one funnel, learn the quirks, then do the rest.

Where Funnels Fit in a High-Ticket Business

High-ticket buyers rarely buy on the first click. A funnel that captures a lead, sends a quote request and follows up by email does the work a salesperson would, and it works while you sleep. The US Census Bureau e-commerce report shows how much retail now happens online, which is why this matters.
