Wix Coupon and Promo Code 2026: What Wix Publishes, What It Saves and What to Skip

Affiliate disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. If you buy through them, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Full disclosure

Yes, there is a Wix promo code in 2026, and it is one Wix publishes itself. The company’s own promo code page lists the code TAKE10 for 10% off a yearly Premium plan, for first-time upgrades and the first year only. Wix’s coupon terms, which the page links to, put the end date at December 31, 2026. Anything else you find on coupon sites should be checked against that page before you trust it.

I have been in ecommerce for 15+ years, and at Ecommerce Paradise I treat discount claims the way I treat supplier promises: if I cannot see the terms, I do not count the savings. If you are still deciding whether a Wix store is the right foundation, my guide on what high-ticket dropshipping is covers the business model first, because the platform is the smaller decision.

This article comes from Wix’s promo code page and the coupon terms it links to, its help center and its plans page, plus Website Builder Expert and TechRadar, all read in October 2026. I did not redeem the code at a live checkout for this piece, so I report what Wix says and flag where sources disagree. Prices and terms change, so confirm everything on the checkout screen before you pay.

Disclosure: I may earn a commission if you sign up through my Wix link, at no extra cost to you. I could not confirm that my link adds any discount or that it changes how a promo code behaves, so I treat it as a way to start your site and not as a coupon.

Wix publishes TAKE10 for 10% off a yearly Premium plan, lists a 14-day money-back guarantee on new plans and includes a free domain voucher on most yearly plans. Building a site costs nothing, and Core is about $29 a month on annual billing.

Is There a Wix Coupon Code in 2026?

There is, and the source is Wix. Its promo code page is headed “2026 Wix Promo Code” and shows TAKE10 with this line: “Save 10% on any Yearly Premium plan excluding Wix Studio plans. Promotion valid for first-time upgrades and for the first year only.” Wix’s help center link for Current promotions leads to that same page.

Independent coverage points the same way. Website Builder Expert’s Wix pricing page, updated September 15, 2026, says the code TAKE10 gets 10% off any plan at checkout and lists Light at $15.30, Core at $26.10, Business at $35.10 and Business Elite at $143.10 a month on annual billing. Those are exactly 10% off its $17, $29, $39 and $159 list prices.

TechRadar’s Wix review, last updated February 11, 2026, tells readers to see a separate list of Wix promo codes. In the review text I read it does not name a code itself, and it still lists Business at $36 a month, which looks out of date next to the $39 on newer pages.

It helps to be clear about what this is not. It is not a sitewide sale, it does not make a plan free, and I cannot promise it will still be live on the day you read this. Wix’s coupon terms say it ends December 31, 2026, and that it cannot be combined with any other coupon, discount, promotion or sale.

The Offers Wix Actually Documents

Six things are worth knowing about, and only the first one is a code you type in. The rest are built into the plans, which is why they are easy to miss and easy to overstate.

The TAKE10 Promo Code

The terms on Wix’s page boil down to a short list:

  • 10% off, on a yearly Premium plan (monthly plans are not mentioned as eligible).
  • For first-time upgrades and for the first year only. The coupon terms word it as your first purchase of a yearly Premium plan, and the discount covers the first subscription cycle.
  • Excludes Wix Studio plans, according to both the box at the top of the page and the coupon terms.
  • One coupon per purchase, with no combining it with any other coupon, discount, promotion or sale.
  • Redeemable until December 31, 2026, and it does not cover taxes.
  • Entered in the “Enter Promo Code” box at checkout before you submit the order.

Wix’s FAQ adds that the code works on an ecommerce website, as long as it is a yearly Premium plan. If the code does not work, the FAQ says to contact Wix, which is also what I would do before paying full price.

The Student Discount

Wix’s promo code page says it offers 50% off Premium plans for students, in partnership with Student Beans, and you verify your student status to get a code. Wix’s student page confirms the Student Beans partnership. Neither page says which plans qualify or how long the discount lasts, and I could not see the Student Beans terms. Since Wix allows one coupon per purchase, assume the student code and TAKE10 do not stack. If you are a student, it is the first thing to check, because 50% is far more than 10% if it applies to the plan you want.

The Free Domain Voucher

Wix says most yearly or multi-year Premium plans come with a 1 year free domain voucher. The terms matter more than the headline. It comes with the first purchase of a plan only, not a renewal or an upgrade, and you must claim it within 2 months. It only covers a new domain from Wix (Wix’s help center says it can also be redeemed when transferring a domain in), and it does not cover privacy protection.

Monthly plans do not get a voucher, and the voucher cannot be used to renew a domain. After the free year, the domain renews at the regular price. Website Builder Expert puts a .com renewal at about $21.35, and a Wix blog post on domain costs gives the same figure. TechRadar’s February test purchase showed $17.35 for a year, so check the price at checkout, since Wix says it varies by extension and local VAT or sales tax can be added.

The 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Wix’s refund page says it offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on new Premium or Studio plans, and both monthly and yearly plans qualify. It does not apply to renewals or to the upgrade of an existing plan. Domains are separate: Wix says domain purchases do not have the 14-day guarantee.

If you cancel inside the window, the funds go back to the original payment method and the plan is deactivated immediately. The page says to allow up to 45 business days for the refund to process, which is longer than most people expect.

Ad Vouchers

Wix’s help center has two ad-credit articles. One covers a Google Ads credit, which Wix says varies by location and currency, is controlled by Google and requires you to be new to Google advertising. The other covers a $150 Bing Ads voucher for US customers on yearly plans, which is applied after $25 in charges on a new advertising account.

Treat both as extras you may or may not qualify for. The Bing voucher is for a new advertising account under 30 days old and is valid for 2 months from purchase. The article still uses the older product name, so I could not confirm that offer is current, and neither one lowers your Wix bill.

Yearly Billing Itself

Wix’s billing help says longer term plans offer better savings and extras such as the domain voucher, while shorter terms give you more flexibility. That is the one discount available to everyone with no code, and as the next section shows, on cheaper plans it can be worth more than the code.

How to Use the Wix Promo Code at Checkout

These steps follow Wix’s promo page and help center. Menus change, so follow what is on your screen.

  1. Build your site first. You can open a free Wix account and design before paying, and my guide to using Wix walks through the editor.
  2. Go to Wix’s pricing page, log in or sign up, and choose a plan on yearly billing.
  3. At checkout, enter TAKE10 in the “Enter Promo Code” box and apply it.
  4. Read the order summary before you submit. The discounted price should show there, and your tax depends on your billing address.
  5. Check that a free domain voucher appears in your account’s Premium Vouchers page, and claim it within 2 months.

If the discount does not show, stop and contact Wix before paying. A real code appears in the summary before you submit, so a “discount” that only shows up after payment is a reason to ask questions.

What the Code Is Worth: Plan Prices and the Math

Here are the plan prices from Website Builder Expert’s September 2026 page, which match the plan names and annual figures on Wix’s own plans page. The version of Wix’s page I loaded showed prices like $29.77 with a note that they include GST, so your total depends on where you live. The last two columns are my own arithmetic, not a Wix quote.

Wix plan Monthly billing (per month) Yearly billing (per month) Yearly total Yearly total with TAKE10 TAKE10 saves
Light $24 $17 $204 $183.60 $20.40
Core $36 $29 $348 $313.20 $34.80
Business $46 $39 $468 $421.20 $46.80
Business Elite $172 $159 $1,908 $1,717.20 $190.80

Compare that with what yearly billing does on its own. Twelve months of monthly billing is $288 on Light, $432 on Core, $552 on Business and $2,064 on Business Elite. Paying yearly instead saves $84 on each of the first three plans and $156 on Business Elite, by my arithmetic.

So on Light, Core and Business, switching to yearly billing saves more than TAKE10 does, and you can combine both because the code is for yearly plans. Core on monthly billing costs $432 a year. Core yearly with the code costs $313.20, a gap of $118.80.

Now the part people skip. Wix’s billing help says any paid service bought with a discount, for example during a sale, renews at the standard rate. A Core plan at $313.20 in year one is back to the standard yearly price at renewal, so over two years you pay $661.20 instead of $696. The code is worth $34.80 once, not every year.

Put that next to what a store costs to run. Wix Payments lists 2.9% + $0.30 per US card transaction (American Express is higher), so ten $1,500 orders in a month cost $438 in card processing alone. The whole first-year code saving on Core is under 8% of one such month, so pick the plan on features and fees first and treat the code as a small bonus.

One feature check before you chase a discount: Wix’s own plan guide says if you buy Light you cannot accept payments on the site. Core and Business are the realistic starting points for a store, and my guide to setting up a Wix store for dropshipping shows how I would build one.

Think 10% Is Too Small to Bother With? Test the Plan Before Money Is at Stake

The code is worth $34.80 in year one on Core, but a free site, a 14-day money-back window on a new plan and a free domain voucher on most yearly plans cut more risk than any code. Build the pages first, then decide.

Where the Sources Disagree

A few details do not line up, and you should know about them before you rely on the code.

Does TAKE10 Cover Wix Studio?

Wix’s box on the promo page says yearly Premium plans excluding Wix Studio plans, and the coupon terms PDF it links to says the same. Website Builder Expert says the code gets 10% off any plan and does not mention the exclusion, which reads as shorthand rather than a disagreement. Wix’s own wording is the one to trust, so a Studio plan should not qualify, and if you are a designer buying one, test the code before assuming.

Why Does the FAQ Say Editor X?

The FAQ on the same Wix page says the discount applies to all Premium plans except Editor X, while the box at the top names Wix Studio. Editor X is an older product name, so the FAQ looks like leftover wording from an earlier version of the page. The coupon terms back the Studio exclusion, but I could not confirm the FAQ wording is simply old, which is another reason to read the terms at checkout.

What Is the “Save 50%” Badge?

Wix’s plans page showed a “Save 50%” badge on Core, Business and Business Elite in the version I loaded. The strikethrough figure beside it read “$159/” on all three plans, which cannot be right for Core at about $29, so I cannot tell what the 50% is measured against. I did not use it in any math in this article, and the plan prices are the numbers to rely on.

What Counts as a “First-Time Upgrade”?

The promo page does not define the phrase, but the coupon terms say the coupon is redeemable on your first purchase of a yearly Premium plan. A Wix help article adds that promotions cannot be used to renew a plan, though an existing plan can be upgraded with a coupon, so the two do not line up neatly. I could not find out whether buying a plan for a second site counts, or whether a former customer qualifies. If you already have a Premium plan on another site, ask Wix before you count on the discount.

Why Random Wix Coupon Codes Fail

This section is my reasoning from Wix’s terms, not a study of coupon sites. I cannot prove why any one code failed, but the published terms give four likely reasons.

A code can be for a plan type you are not buying, such as a monthly plan. It can be for first-time upgrades only, so an existing customer is out. It can conflict with another code or promotion, because Wix’s terms bar combining them. And it can simply be old or past its end date, which is a real risk on a page that still carries an Editor X line.

There is a business reason too. Coupon sites usually earn a commission when you click through, which is how my own site works, and the FTC’s endorsement guide Q&A says you should disclose that relationship clearly and conspicuously so readers can decide how much weight to give the recommendation. A page that hides it, or buries the terms of a code, is one I would close.

The safety side is real as well. The FTC’s guide on how to recognize and avoid phishing scams says legitimate companies will not email or text you a link to update your payment information. A discount is never worth handing over your Wix login, and CISA’s advice to turn on multifactor authentication applies to the account that controls your store, payments and domain.

What Happens at Renewal

Wix says its plans renew automatically at the end of the term, whether that is monthly, yearly or every 2 or 3 years, and you can turn auto-renewal off. For yearly and multi-year plans it says the renewal charge can be taken up to 3 weeks before the expiration date. Put a calendar reminder in the month before, because the first-year discount and the free domain are both gone by then.

Plan for the real second-year cost, not the introductory one. That means the standard plan price, a domain that renews at its regular price and any apps or business email you added. If you cancel inside the first 14 days, the refund covers the plan and not the domain, so keep those two decisions separate.

Whichever plan you buy, put the subscription on a business account in your company’s name instead of your personal card. My business formation guide covers setting up that foundation before you start paying for tools.

Who Should Skip the Code

Do not build your plan around TAKE10 if any of these fit you:

  • You want to pay monthly, since Wix’s page describes the code for yearly plans.
  • You already have a Premium plan and are renewing, since Wix says promotions cannot be used for renewals and the code is for first-time upgrades.
  • You are buying a Wix Studio plan, where Wix’s own terms say the code does not apply.
  • You have not tested the editor yet. A free site is the better first step.

There is a bigger skip, too. If you are not sure Wix is the right platform for a high-ticket store, no 10% discount fixes that. I normally point people toward Shopify for stores built around selling, and I explain why in my best ecommerce platform for high-ticket dropshipping guide.

If you have not picked what to sell yet, start there. My high-ticket niches list is a better use of this week than hunting a coupon, because the niche decides which platform and plan you need.

Coupons for Your Own Store’s Shoppers

Some people searching this term want coupons their customers can use on a Wix store. Wix’s ecommerce page mentions email marketing that can help you promote new products and offer coupons, so shopper discounts appear to be supported. I did not open or test a coupon builder in a Wix store, so check the options inside your own dashboard.

For a dropshipper there is one catch before you turn a coupon on. Many suppliers set minimum advertised price policies, and a public discount code can undercut that price. Read your dealer agreement first, and my supplier guide explains the questions to ask about pricing rules.

What About Other Website Builders?

If the price of one builder is the sticking point, look at the same kind of offers elsewhere before you decide. My Squarespace coupon and promo codes guide covers what that platform publishes, and the pattern is similar: a headline percentage, narrow terms and a standard price at renewal.

A cheaper first year is not a cheaper business. Compare the second-year price, the fees on each sale and how easily you could leave, because Wix says a site has to run on its servers and cannot be exported to another host.

My Verdict on Wix Coupons in 2026

Use TAKE10 if it applies to you, and do not let it drive the decision. It is a published, small and conditional discount: 10% on a yearly plan, first year, first-time upgrade, with a domain voucher and a 14-day guarantee sitting alongside it. I could not verify any other Wix code, and I would not trust one that no Wix page backs. Also remember the end date: Wix’s terms say TAKE10 is redeemable until December 31, 2026.

The order I suggest is simple. Start a free Wix site, build enough to know whether you like the editor, then choose the plan on features, enter the code at checkout and confirm the order summary. If something feels off, the guarantee is your safety net, and a plan you will not renew at full price is a plan you should not buy on a discount.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a working Wix promo code in 2026?
Wix publishes the code TAKE10 on its own promo page for 10% off a yearly Premium plan, first-time upgrades and first year only, redeemable until December 31, 2026 per its terms. I did not redeem it at a live checkout, so confirm the discount appears in your order summary. Wix says to contact it if the code does not work.

Can I use a Wix coupon on a monthly plan?
Wix’s page describes TAKE10 for yearly Premium plans, and it does not list monthly plans as eligible. Monthly plans also do not come with the free domain voucher. If you can commit for a year, start with a free Wix site and check the checkout screen on a yearly plan.

Does Wix give a student discount?
Wix’s promo page says it offers 50% off Premium plans for students through Student Beans, after you verify your student status. It does not list the plan scope or duration, so read the terms when you claim it.

Do Wix discounts renew at the lower price?
No. Wix’s billing help says any paid service bought with a discount, for example during a sale, renews at the standard rate. Plan for the full price in year two and turn off auto-renewal if you do not want to continue.

Can I get a refund if I use a promo code and change my mind?
Wix offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on new Premium and Studio plans, and it says refunds do not apply to renewals or plan upgrades. Domain purchases are separate and not covered by the 14-day guarantee, so check what you bought before you cancel.
